While we like the ambiance of this pleasant neighborhood restaurant, and appreciate the price range, we were disappointed with several dishes. To top it off, we decided to try a dessert described on the menu as cheesecake, lemon curd and strawberry. In fact, the only lemon curd and strawberry on the plate were 4 small dots of each that could only be described as garnish at best. For $11 it was overpriced and misleadingly described.
Food was interesting and well displayed. Servings are more pretty than plentiful, come to enjoy but not to fill up. Best to share orders so that you get a spread of different tastes.
The music was a tad loud for an older pre-theatre crowd. I know old people always say this! But if you are managing a restaurant and 70% of your crowd is OBVIOUSLY over 65 on a Thurs night ...Turn it down! Everyone was leaning way in to hear each other, and also squinting at the Menu board and at the menus!
That being said our server was lovely, read the board out loud to us and checked on us regularly.
Great food and service
Lovely set menu. Good was outstanding as always. The wine pairings were bang on.
I picked for our Valentines lunch. My hubby is very picky with restaurants and he was quite satisfied. myself like their selection of wines and a lot of rare ones too. Food is good. Their signature is cheese maybe because almost all dishes have cheeses? Loved the Onion Soup. Place is cozy. The young server was great! People were nice. Will go again with kids.
The food was very tasty; there was an interesting choice of wines by the glass; the music was not intrusive; the servers were friendly and knowledgeable; nice bistro decor and ambience; I really enjoyed my first visit here and plan to return.
One of my favourite spots for wine and cheese!
Good knowledgeable service, not intrusive but checked in several times. Made good suggestions. Restaurant was quiet, but it was a Monday night. We shared a few items and a nice bottle of bubbly, ending with a shared desert and cappuccinos. Leisurely and enjoyable, will definitely do it again.
An amazing menu! Really neat wines I haven’t heard of or seen anywhere else. Wonderful service, too. They took the time to make us feel special and make sure we had all the information we needed to choose.
This place is delicious. Worth the price you pay for the portion and quality you are getting. One of my favourite places to go in all of Vancouver.
One of my neighbourhood favourites. Really appreciate the focus on locally sourced ingredients. Great vibe and very good customer service.
We shared the beet salad with chickpeas (more like hummus), garlic shrimp, spaghettini carbanara (so delicious), gnocchi with duck, and an amazingly creative apple dessert. Loved every bit. Will for sure be back.
Excellent small restaurant with great food and tapas-like menu.
I was very impressed with the food and ambience. Very relaxed and not pretentious. Good value. My only complaint is that we had to ask about the daily specials and there were several of them noted on the menu. We also probably would've ordered some brunch cocktails if they had been offered.
Food was so delicious.
Warm and inviting room, beautifully done classics ( with some clever twists) and a really interesting wine selection. A perfect neighborhood gem.
Our party of four were absolutely amazed at this find. The food was excellent, original and begging for more. It's a great place to share plates and bath in the atmosphere and in the service. Thanks Tristin.
Friendly service, excellent wine, menu selection, and casually quiet atmosphere for a late lunch to celebrate my best friend's birthday!
Great place to go for a glass of wine with girlfriends!
Was looking for something different before a concert, but had to book a 5:30PM reservation, which meant the place was almost empty when we arrived. We let the server recommend items for the medium charcuterie plate and all of our "large"plate items were on the smallish side but incredibly good and with great presentation. With a bottle of wine included I would say the prices were moderate for our meal, and it is such a lovely bistro interior I would definitely recommend and return!
Nice place, and good service, will go back soon!
Nice place, and good service, will go back soon!
Enjoyed a lovely Pinot Noir suggested by our server. Food was beautifully presented and very tasty. Didn’t disappoint. Will be back!
The food is not bad, but the portions are small. Not great value. I do like the ambience, although that could be improved as well by turning the volume down on the music so people can talk without having to strain to hear each other.
A gem of a restaurant tucked away off the bustle of Granville. Amazing food, impeccable service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Small menu of fast food.
Good wine selection and vegetarian options . Friendly service and warm atmosphere.
We went with friends prior to going to the nearby Stanley Theatre. We believe it’s a great pre theatre option.
Service was quite slow despite it not being very busy. The food more than made up for it though. The atmosphere is lovely. Also the lambrusco was delicious.
Small perfect menu with unique food fresh delicious quiet wonderful space to eat have a glass of wine and talk
Just off of Granville street and near the Stanley Industrial Alliance stage, this pretty little bistro has 2 wine lists, 1 by the bottle, and one on the wall by the glass. Clever dishes that can be prepared in a tiny kitchen (like my gnocchi with duck confit and others like charcuterie plates and salads) make it a good place if you have something from their small menu in mind. Prices are a bit high, but it's comfortable, cosy, and if you like wine, a good place to sip the latest high-end glasses. Service is attentive but laid back.
Great place to hang out! Amazing food!
Excellent , friendly, knowledgeable service. Great menu. Good quality food.
