Unfortunately our afternoon tea experience was not very good. The tea is held in the lobby so people who are checking in are standing right next to your table while you enjoy your tea. Additionally, the service wasn’t good and we had to ask multiple times for things like milk, utensils, and water. Also, because it’s the lobby there were several mosquitoes flying around and both me and my daughter were bitten. I’ve been to several teas in the area. This was one of the more expensive ones in the area and it’s just not really worth it when compared with some of the other area hotel teas.

Tea service was lovely, missed having some of the traditional sandwhiches and was unfortunately seated by the door and subject to a lot of mosquito bites which made it a rather unpleasant meal, sadly. Overall would recommend for a special occasion — during the cooler months or further away from the main entry!

The St. Regis is beautiful. We entered through the front entrance. Some of the set up is unusual (concierge in little room), but the attendants very welcoming and helpful. To check in for tea, one must enter into the bar area, and the stand is a little more tucked away (a tad hard to find if one doesn't know where to look). Once we got settled in though, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The savory items were exceptional. I did enjoy the sweets as well, especially the St. Regis champagne bottle (made of chocolate). I believe it's the best spread of items for afternoon tea than any of the other tea rooms I've tried so far!

The ambiance was of course dazzling! The food was delicious, as was the tea. However, especially for the price, the service was lacking, our table was not pre-bussed, our water was not filled and we had to wait a long time to catch our server’s attention for the bill. Overall this was a lovely, but overpriced experience.

The tea itself was great. I liked the sweets better than the savory foods but they weren't anything to write home about. I have 2 main complaints. The bathrooms were not easily accessible. And it was way too hot in there to be serving tea in there during summer time with having the AC pumping harder. I felt really bad for tables directly in the sun by the windows. Service was excellent. And the vibe was beautiful.

Gaby took such good care of us! We called ahead about some dietary restrictions and the St. Regis was on top of it, accommodated everything we needed with a fabulous selection of exquisite and delicious treats. Not a wide tea selection but an excellent house blend. Lovely setting. Nice piano music. Looking forward to returning.

Beautiful lobby and service was good. Deserts were good but finger sandwiches were not at all. Value for what was provided was very low.

I am a huge high tea fan. I have had high tea all over the world. I have had much better high tea at lower cost even in this city. The lotion in faraway bathrooms is watered down and without scent. Which was shocking in a luxury hotel to say the least. Overpriced for what you get.
