   As always everything at The Springwood is delicious. The cocktail and wine menu are amazing Because we love it so much had the smoked trout spread with homemade potato chips. The calamari and bread and butter. For our mains the steak and the most amazing fried chicken we have ever tasted. Spiced carrots and fries as our veg. Everything was incredible. Lots of leftovers for our group of three ! We shared three desserts and didn’t leave a crumb. Service was perfect. Can’t wait for our next special occasion meal to share there again !

   Both service and food were exquisite. Chef manages to layer all ingredients in a given dish with deft perfection so that each and every one only serves to complement the next, without drowning it out. Very inventive and creative menu. Best restaurant in Durham - and it's not close. We will be back for sure. Hard to pick favorites, but a few highlights that stood out are the tuna crudo, the minette for the oysters with the crunchy pickle, providing an incredibly unique textural contrast, the duck liver mousse with maple syrup and blueberry compote, as well as the lamb cavatelli. All brilliant.

   I’m a big fan of this place! Took 2 friends who hadn’t been before and they loved it - the warm welcome from Jasmine, the ambience, the spicy margarita cocktail, the delicious food and the Sara experience! Can’t wait until my next visit.

   We both chose ‘Come over for dinner’ with 4 courses to share. Sublime duck liver pate, yummy smoked trout dip, winter greens and beet salads, warm bread with grass fed butter, sweet mussels and scallops in cream chowder sauce, all beautifully presented and fully explained by our server Sarah. Topped off with innovative cocktails, Ontario wines, semi-freddo, plus espresso. Highly recommend

   Outstanding fine dining in Whitby! Locally sourced, Canadian inspired menu. So much attention to detail on the flavouring. We did a tasting menu - it was well paced and hearty! Out entire table loved everything about The Springwood! Can’t wait to go back!

   The service and food at Springwood exceeded our expectations ! By far the best dining experience we have ever had in the Durham region.

   Our first visit to The Springwood won’t be our last! Tasting menu was fantastic! Thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.

   I had heard that The Springwood was great, but experiencing it for ourselves really blew us away! From the atmosphere, to the staff (who truly love what they do), and food/drinks - it was an incredible experience. We opted for the tasting menu with 9 courses and it was such an amazing way to experience all the flavours and options they offer. I tried many foods I normally don’t eat and it was a really fun way to celebrate my birthday. We will definitely be back!

    Absolutely wonderful experience. Delicious food and exceptional service. Locally sourced ingredients and seasonal menu. Will definitely be returning.
