   Following a friend's wedding where the food was exceptional, have now visited the Spread Eagle for a steak night on a Tuesday (excellent) and lunch with friends in the garden on a weekday. Will certainly go again.

   Service was excellent with very friendly staff. Only ordered sandwiches but the handcut fries that accompanied them were fantastic!

   we went for Lunch on Sunday, luckily we booked as it soon filled up! I had the Blue Cheese Burger and I have to say it was an amazing burger - it really was something else! to start I had Scallops and Black Pudding - Wow..! really good too. Traditional Sunday lunch looked great and the kids were well catered for. We are looking forward to our next visit!

   Had dinner with family from Australia on their last night in England. The children loved the outdoor play area. One of our party is a chef and he highly praised the quality of the food. Someone else had great difficulty choosing because there was so much she wanted to eat. Needless to say, we were impressed with the menu and the quality of food. Service was excellent, extremely charming and helpful young woman waited on us. Cannot recommend this pub enough!

   You get at least 7 different vegetables so miss the starters. Also plenty of gravy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Checked to make sure everything was OK at various times.

   Having been here once before I asked for a specific table which is by a large fire and it had been reserved for us. The pub is extraordinarily welcoming and the staff very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent, very imaginative and the wine extremely reasonably priced and very drinkable. We had a great evening. We will certainly return and very soon.

   Overall a really nice experience Food was excellent Lamb cooked to perfection Sunday lunches were plentiful and very tasty Prices were upper middle but worth it Service a bot slow but very friendly and helpful Made a veggie dish not on the menu for one of us that didn't fancy what was there Don't often do it but would thoroughly recommend this place
