Loves the fajitas and enchiladas 😍
Great casual food. Great service and enjoyable night!
The food and margaritas are just not worth the price.
Food was hit and a miss unfortunately!! We dine here every year we visit CWBeach. Was a huge disappointment. Service was very good though!
Staying at hotel. This was so convenient
I had fajitas, they were excellent and plentiful
Great food, great drinks, great service! Highly recommend, can’t wait to go back!
The server was great, and she knew a lot about Cryptocurrency which was impressive.
We really enjoyed the jalapeño popper and the ceviche appetizers. The enchiladas were really good as well. We will be back for sure.
The food was fantastic! Bursting with flavor! Margaritas were made with the specialty tequila and are just what you want after a day by the water. Michael was our waiter, he was professional and charming, checked on us a few times while we were there, had great personality. Due to the weather in the area this week it was a bit quieter than expected but that gave us the opportunity to hear the music which added to the ambiance.
Ok, just had our dinners served 10 mins apart
Good enchiladas. Avoid margarita — way too sour. Salmon dish is a bit one-toned.
We were seated but not content with the service, ambience and lack of cleanliness and left prior to a server engaging us.
Friendly staff , took a little while to come to our table. The food was good and fresh
Mediocre food and service experience.
Good food, excellent service, fajitas we're very good
They would not seat us. They told us after we made reservations that that won’t take a group more than 10. The hostess was incredibly rude. The manager tried to accommodate us but told us the other part of our party would need to sit on the other side of restaurant. They even called 4 hours prior to confirm and we verified how many quest. They should’ve mentioned that our group size would’ve been an issue. The restaurant was completely dead, only one table seated inside. Yet they didn’t want to serve us. Asking being treated so poorly with the hostess and the manager, we honestly felt that our business was not welcomed, which was surprising because there was no one there on a Friday at 6 pm.
This is a very casual restaurant that is part of the Hilton hotel. They offer a nice selection of tasty Mexican food. The service is very good, and the food is ready quickly.
Nice quiet atmosphere inside. Good was very good. Waiter was nice but a bit overwhelmed with too many tables. Nice atmosphere. Make a reservation or you won’t get a table.
Food was great! Waitress could have checked back in a few more times took a bit for our bill. Wasn’t really busy but overall it was a pleasant experience!
Our server Sam was great ! No hesitation to change fish tacos from deep fried to grilled and they were very good along with the sides. Chips were fresh. Only thing they should changes is Salsa. Found it very bland
Fabulous food and service
Extremely friendly host. We were more than 30 minutes late due to traffic, but the host put us at ease and seated us right away.
The food was okay, fine for a family meal. Definitely tasty and prepared well.
The location is great.
Great location! Great queso and beef fajitas! Nice to sit outside at night!
Where to start. The service was horrible. Every empty table had dirty dishes on it that were never cleared. We sat for 2 hours and no one cleared out table. My husband had to place our dirty dishes on the bar then we watched those sit until we were leaving! No bussing of tables. The server delivered food in stages, where my kids were the last to be served. The food in general was below average.
Terrible experience. Our service was awful, had to get up to get our own silverware after food arrived, had to ask other workers for chips when our queso came out, food took forever and wasn’t good. Another table came after us, ate/paid their bill and left before our food even arrived. Very expensive too for an awful meal. Our waitress was always missing, and there were always 3 girls just hanging around the hostess stand that should have been helping out if they were understaffed. Also, tables were left dirty after other guests left so tons of birds were gathering (we sat outside). A waiter dropped a glass right when we got there and no one cleaned up the broken glass the whole 1.5-2 hours we were there. I would not recommend.
Really tasty drinks and food. Best Mexican restaurant in Clearwater!
Skip the fajitas!
The wait staff checked on us multiple times, but it seemed more out of trying to hurry us along than they were really interested in how we were doing or what we needed. The place was packed and it looked like many others waiting.
The barbacoa nachos were delicious, but the guac and fajitas left something to be desired. The chicken fajitas tasted more like teriyaki chicken than anything resembling Mexican food. We admittedly have a bias since we lived in Texas for a long time, but if you are accustomed to real Mexican or TexMex I would skip this place. Otherwise, get the nachos and enjoy!
Very slow service. Literally wondered if anyone was coming back to see us again.
Sat outside as hostess told us she would light the fire to keep us warm. Asked 4 different staff to light fire to warm up and to be able to see our food/drinks. We were there for one hour and someone came and changed out the propane tank as we were standing up to leave after our dark and chilly dinner.
We sat in their outdoor dining area for dinner and had a great time! Wonderful service. The food and drinks were fantastic. My daughter was eating the salsa by the spoonful. The chipotle sauce is THE bomb. Felt this was a great, safe outdoor dining option during Covid era!
Not open on Mondays, so I can't give an actual review. Our reservation was worthless. Lol
We found this place while on vacation. The food was wonderful and our waitress, Oneda was great! The house tequila in the margaritas was a 10/10!
Nice restaurant. Food nice. Nothing special though.
Fast service. Entrees were ready with in minutes.
Waiter was nice and friendly. But seemed to be in a hurry. Dropped the check while both my wife and I were still eating. Didn’t even get offered desserts or a chance of another cocktail.
Would try it again. Based on value and food.
The spotted donkey is a quaint Mexican eatery. There is plenty to choose from on the menu, all looking yummy. The dip that comes with the chips isn’t your normal salsa and was a pleasing dip. Ordering was quick and the food came fresh and hot. We would return again given the opportunity.
Food was not good & overpriced. good service
Good and drinks were good. Service was slow, we sat for about 10 minutes before
Food was served cold and was mediocre
Very bad service
