   It wasn't the best Indian I've been to. Staff were lovely but the food was below expected. It was nice but I much prefer other Indian's to go to.

   We had a dinner reservation on the 31st of December. The Spice Pavilion is a lovely little restaurant and the food was amazing. We were offered the poppadums to start and that was really nice with the Chutneys. The curries and Naan Breads were also amazing.

   Excellent Indian restaurant. I ordered one their specials a Bhona with peppercorns and garlic naan. Very tasty, spicy and just the right level of heat. Naan was delicious and clearly baked just minutes before. Girlfriend had a pistachio based curry and that was very good and not too hot for her. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. Can't ask for more for a Saturday night curry in town.

   I have visited the restaurant maybe 2/3 times per year and the food never disappoints. There is a very good selection of vegetarian starters and main dishes. I can always guarantee I will have an enjoyable meal at the Spice Pavilion.

   The consistent high standards of food were maintained but, on this occasion, spoiled by a very noisy group table of 20 and the fact that the restaurant was cold. Two cubes of ice popped in my wife's white wine sort of summed the evening up. Hopefully a one off experience .

   Had a very good Indian meal here, booking at short notice. It's down some steps, so not sure about disabled access. I've marked down the service as we had a young lad, obviously new to the job, who struggled a bit to cope, but the other staff looked very on the ball, so I'm sure once he finds his feet he'll be fine! All in all, though, I'd recommend this place highly and we'll be back.

   Reasonably priced and good quality. Wide ranging menu with some more traditional dishes mixed with the usual favourites.

    We went here for an evening meal and food was good. Service was better. Starters were nice and everyone enjoyed them. Mains were good but accompaniments were hard and tough- not fluffy they were meant to be. They also came out wrong to start with but were quickly rectified. I'm not sure if it is worth the price we paid but we were looked after.
