The Southern Tea Room & Candy Martini Bar, located inside Fork of the South at The Factory in Franklin, blends Southern charm with English tea traditions. Enjoy mismatched china, vintage teacups, and a whimsical setting. Our 75-minute daytime tea includes pastries, sandwiches, sweets, soup, salad, and your own teapot for $50. Children 11 and under are $30 and receive a scaled-down version of the full experience. Evening tea begins at 5 PM and features a more savory menu with charcuterie bites, warm biscuits, and optional candy-inspired cocktails from our Candy Martini Bar. Ideal for date nights, celebrations, or girls’ night out. Parties of 5 or fewer are seated together; groups of 6+ at nearby tables. Seats up to 28 guests. A credit card is required. Cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows will be charged $25 per guest. Please include any dietary restrictions and number of children when booking. Private events available Monday and Tuesday for parties of 10 or more.

It was a beautiful experience. We are already planning our daughter’s day for the fall or winter. Think we will make it a yearly thing. Food was great. Lemon berry coconut tea is amazing. The salad dressing is amazing. Chicken salad, cucumber dill sandwich were amazing! I thought there’s no way I will be full however 100 percent you get enough to eat. Beautiful, cozy, elegant. Loved it!!!!

We had seven in our party to celebrate our sister-in-law's birthday and had a delightful time! We had some last-minute changes to our reservation, and they were kind enough to accommodate them. Our server was absolutely adorable and so courteous - definitely made our time at the Tea Room quite enjoyable. The only reason I gave the food a "4-star" review is that the scones were quite on the dry side, and there were no refills on tea, but they would reheat what was in the pot if we requested. I also appreciated having a water glass, which was a great touch. It was really fun to pick out our teacup for the afternoon as well. We didn't notice the tiaras until the end, so if you are at the Tea Room for a special celebration, make sure the special guest picks out her tiara too! The tables accommodate 4-6 people comfortably, so please note that if you have more than 6, you'll be seated at more than one table. I'll be back for sure!!

The Southern is the perfect warm place to enjoy the time honored tradition of high tea. The first course of tomato soup and salad was on point and so was the tea. Often soup and tea are served warmly tepid. Not here! Both were steaming hot, perfect ! The tiered savories and sweets were exceptional. The tea sandwiches were stellar. Can’t pick the best between the cucumber, pimento cheese and chicken salad. Excellent recipes plus in perfect portions. The savory is only matched by the sweet. I have to say I do have a favorite. The pain au chocolat is delicious. You feel like you’re in Paris with every bite. To top things off, the service was just what you would want and expect in such a comfortable and inviting setting, friendly and attentive. So make your way to The Southern Tea Room. It is the best high tea around.

My mom, daughter and I had the best experience today, 5/10 at Southern Tea Room. Each year we go do a tea for Mother’s Day and this year picked a new location. We were not disappointed at all! The food was absolutely delicious with the best chicken salad and pimento salad finger sandwiches! A lemon bar was debuted today and it definitely needs to become one of the regular choices, excellent dessert. In addition to the great food, Stephanie went over and beyond with accommodating us. She allowed us to stay a little longer due to my daughter not being able to arrive on time due to no fault of her own. We would highly recommend Southern Tea Room and the soon Candy Martini bar! You will not be disappointed!!

I had the best Mother’s Day celebration with my daughters today at The Southern Tea Room! The ambiance, three tiered tray of treats, and service was wonderful! I highly reccomended this Franklin jewel! 🩵🫖☕️

The Southern Tea Room is a nice place for a get together. The food was delicious, has nice atmosphere, our server Mackenzie was attentive and friendly. They provided nice gluten free options.
