   We arrived at venue to be told they don’t use open table as a booking system anymore and we’re fully booked and had no room .the lady was very rude and had nu compassion made my sisters birthday meal turn into a total disaster. I was so upset the way she dealt with the situation was so unprofessional and just plain right mean.

   I’ve had to put one star for everything, as I didn’t even get the chance to go through the doors. I book a table through OpenTable, when I got there I gave my name and they had nuffing down for me, I was really disappointing as me and my other half was looking forward to it, as we hard it was a great place to go. I think if the soul house does not receive the booking through OpenTable it should be removed off it.

   The soul house failed to recognise our booking from open table and denied having anything to do with open table, as a result of our party had to travel to bham for dinner instead as the manager also failed to accommodate us on arrival. If you are looking to book here book directly through the restaurant as they will not acknowledge open table bookings, We will not be attempting to dine here again unfortunately.

   Our taxi was running late and because we were 5 mins late after our 15 min grace time we were told by the bouncers that we were not getting in and our table had been given away. They would not even let us in for a drink whilst we waited for our taxi. Terrible customer service and very rude. Will not be going again

   Really enjoyed this restaurant, food and drinks were amazing. Music was not too loud, the service was really good the waiter made sure we was okay majority of the time which was really nice.

   We arrived 14mins late due to issues with taxi, we called ahead to let them know we will be late. Phone was just ringing out. We then arrive and was greeted at the door by two men which I'm assuming are the security. To which they asked do you have a booking yes I replied name I gave my name and they said you can't come in you are late. At this point I thought they was joking. They continue to say you are late your table has been given away. We asked to speak to management. They said the security- that she just told us you can't come in. We insisted that they go get management. A young lady came out to tell us we are 15mins late and our table had just been given away. Again I was so shocked with the customer service of this establishment. I said ok can we wait for a table to become available. We was told non would be available until 9ish and the kitchen closes at 9.30am. "What now". I have attended plenty establishment in my life and NEVER have had this kind of treatment. We asked the door men if we could wait in the foyer until our taxi arrived. NO YOU CAN NOT like we was some sort of criminals bearing in mind it was in the minus that night. The customer service in this place is absolutely shocking. I had my reservations about this place before I even went after reading the reviews. But I thought let me try and support. Well never again, the customer service is absolutely shocking. Attend with caution!

   Visited the soul house for mine and my friends joint birthday meal and had a fantastic night! Nothing was too much trouble. The young girl that was serving our table all night was so lovely to each and every one of us and the manager Melissa made a personal effort to ensure we had a great birthday. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back thank you cc or a truly wonderful night

    Had a lovely evening with partner, service was great, Dejon was very attentive and polite. There was some live music lady called Pricilla singing. Great experience would recommend. Only downfall for me was having proper dessert menu 😋
