   My wife and so enjoyed our experience here. I set up reservations for my wife birthday and we were seated on time. Our waiter was nice and consistently checked on our table. The food and drinks were great. The DJ did a great job playing good R&B music mixed with old and new school. The Red Snapper and the Rib-Eye was excellent. Our appetizer were fresh and served quickly. I recommend this place and will be revisiting it while I’m here in Maryland. Also, the atmosphere was excellent. Not rowdy and the place was clean. My wife immediately said “I love this” when we walked in. We knew that we were going to have a good time.

   Check your bill before tipping as the tip is already included in your bill (doesn't matter size of party, mine was two ppl) but they don't tell you so you end up tipping the server twice. Not that I mine tipping twice but when worth it. This service wasn't unfortunately. Our entrée came out with the appetizers, so the party next to us offered space from their table to hold our entrées until we finished the appetizers. Food was cold and it did not taste like the Society I know and come appreciate. I also asked my server for a receipt after paying and he never brought it back, and I had to leave; which leads me to believe the "extra tipping" matter was done purposely. This part should've been as transparent as possible...it's tough out here and some folk cannot afford to tip twice at $25-30; basically the server walked away with double tip for $100 food bill. I'll definitely think twice before recommending or visiting Society again. Also a restroom is needed upstairs. Not a good look having dinner downstairs and party goers have to literally walk through the restaurant to use the restroom.

   The food was exceptionally good!! (Brunch)The service was prompt and friendly. We only waited 15 min before receiving our food. Will definitely be returning sooner than later.

   The food and drinks were great. Dj’s played a mix of music. The only down fall was that we specifically told our waiter everyone was paying separate. He still ended up coming back 3 times with everything on one bill. He then proceeding to tell us he could on take 3 cards (instead of 5). Fine, 3 of us paid cash the other 2 paid with a card. And was specifically told how much to charge on each card. After looking at the receipts he charged one person almost $100 and the other person $79. It was supposed to be $75 on each card. When they brought it to his attention he basically said there was nothing he could do about it. I believe that ruined the vibe for everyone. Especially since we drove 2 hours to come to this place. Other than that it was good experience.

   We arrived on-time, and it too 45 minutes to get a table because it was contingent on someone else finishing their dinner/leaving. The Lounge was overwhelmed/overbooked. After being seated it took another 30 minutes to be served. The food was good tho.

   The female in charge of table reservations stalked us all night. We reserved a table and we wanted to be close to deejay because he’s a brother to me. She tried to move us all the way upstairs. I told her that I wanted to be close to deejay and then she gave us a table in the middle. I went to bathroom and we were moved again. The deejay told us we could chill up there with him until his set was over. She came up and was rude and said we couldn’t be there. We ended up upstairs. I’ve been there numerous times and always treated well. WE SPENT A LOT OF MONEY AS WE ALWAYS DO. Hire a better table host she’s doing too much in the wrong way.

    Service was extremely slow and incorrect order was brought out. The menu is not accurate according to waitress so be sure to clarify what your meal entails before ordering. The day party was nice and great vibes. The mixed drinks had a lot of juice but overall it was ok.

    The food was good, the ambiance and overall experience. The only reason I rated it the way I am is because of a menu discrepancy. Our reservation was at 10:20pm and when we wear seated we were told we had to order off the late night menu (starts after 10pm). The items on the late night menu all came with fries. When questioned about the menu only one order of fries was brought out. When the second entree was brought out I asked for menu clarification and we were told that we got a full order of fries. Regardless we still left a tip and enjoyed the rest of the evening. I will consider revisiting but would prefer to get what I am being charged for according to the menu.

    We met some friends for dinner midweek. The food was so delicious. We ate so many appetizers. Fried mac & cheese balls were incredible. Live music was great!

    Brunch was good. Service was okay. They’re we’re not enough servers and it was hard for them to hear your order due to the music . There was a table smoking weed. We had to ask the staff twice to speak with them to stop. Overall, we had a really good time. The music was bomb. We will return again.

    So bunch is actually over at 2 but they still let you book for bunch to get there and they say they ran out of bunch food managers did try their best to make us happy after we had rsvp and still had to wait 45 min to be seated i whole mess

    Brunch at The Society started off nice, the waiter greeted us and gave us water immediately. We placed an order for an appetizer which never came. We placed our order and the food came out in a timely manner. The mimosas were good, the food was bland. I got the shrimp and grits, which were very bland. My date got the steak and eggs and it was okay. Our waiter disappeared and we were promised access to the upstairs lounge free of charge which never happened. The staff was rude about this as well. All in all, I would rate this place a 4/10. Won’t return.

    Brunch was excellent. Steak was cooked perfectly (steak and eggs), potatoes were delicious, ask for the house hot pepper sauce. Chicken and waffles looked yummy and are apparently very popular - we saw several orders served. Bellinis we're well crafted, definitely go for the bottomless...

    The ambiance was great, I took my best friend there for dinner because it was his birthday! The service was excellent and our needs were met with a smile and quick attention. Shamar the bartender was awesome and made sure our drinks kept coming. We had an amazing time, thank you.

    I made a reservation for my birthday and rather than calling me to let me know that the restaurant was going to be closed, they waited until I drove to the restaurant to tell me they are training. The girl closed the door in my face and walked away after telling me that she couldn't help me.

    Several of my guests thought the hostess was unnecessarily rude, had an attitude & should work on her customer service. It was a more condescending experience than helpful. It was almost as though we were bothering her, which put a damper on my night before it even started. Customers should feel welcomed upon arrival and throughout the seating process. Our waitress on the other hand was much more friendly. She had a great attitude and customer service, which you would expect in a restaurant. There were about 6 of us that ordered at the table, but our waitress refused to split the check unfortunately. I haven't experienced that at a restaurant before so I thought it was odd. Other than that, we had a great time. DJ Curry was playing and he did a great job. Society is a place that I have frequented over the years. I would definitely go back, but I would completely bypass the whole table dine in thing from now on. The only way I would get a table is if a promoter was throwing an event at society and I got a table package through the promoter.

    It was my sisters bday and first time to society! We had the kindest waiter, who was attentive! Food wasn’t warm and we order sodas but ended up not getting it until we were ready to leave. And to add insult to injury I order ginger ale with Caribbean juice but received diet ginger ale smh… they told us midway through our food that machines were not working. I didn’t want to have my waiter go back and forth but I should have cancelled sodas. Other than that everything was ok the snapper is the best item on the menu.

    This was my 1st time visiting. The music and vibe was nice but the food and service was horrible! We had to search for our waiter, I believe his name was Jamal on multiple occasions. The food took about 30 minutes to arrive. Then it came out cold. I ordered the seafood omelette. It was egg with cheese and 4 shrimp on top. No crab. The waiter said they don’t put a lot of crab in. I told him I didn’t see any. He said, “yeah they may have ran out.” I felt this is something you tell someone before bringing it to the table. He took that order back to kitchen and wings were ordered instead. We waited over 35 minutes for the wings, while following up with the waiter to see if they were still coming out. Finally, decided to cancel the wings and the waiter said “yeah, that’s probably best because they haven’t even started cooking them yet.” We never received certain drink orders, that we ended up canceling and 1 of our orders had hair in it. It was a bad first experience. I wouldn’t recommend them for food but the music was good.

    Awful experience. Good thing we were lit or we would have left. The waitresses were so rude and had huge attitudes. We got Hookah for three people and they only Gave us one hose and refused to give us another even though the hookah had two spouts. It was also extremely overpriced. We paid $60 for one hose and Our drinks were watered down for $16 a shot. The ambiance was cool, music could have been better. I don’t think I’ll come back.

    The food was really good, we had the Grand Marnier wings, the red snapper and the cajun pasta. The wings were delicious and perfectly cooked. The pasta was creamy and not too spicy, the dishes were packed with flavor. It was my first time and I’ll definitely be back. There was a band playing which made the dinner experience even better and the waiter was great,no complaints.

    Came for cocktails with a friend. As soon as I walked through the door, I instantly had my ID and bag checked, and my friend got thoroughly patted down as if it was a night club instead of a restaurant. We had reservations but nobody was at the front to greet us so we confusedly went to go find some seats. Eventually (10-15 mins later) somebody came by and took our drink orders. Another 10-15 mins go by and still no drinks. As we’re waiting, we look around and are disappointed. The booths are shabby, paint old and the downstairs bar area was insanely empty without live music on the stage. Why not just put some decoration there when the band was playing? We order a second round of drinks, and find out the restaurant hours that were posted were wrong. I go to pay the bill, and find out that they’ve added an 18% gratuity onto our bill. For two people. Who ordered 2 drinks each. I can understand for a large group or large order, but for 2 people?? And then to ask for an additional tip on top??? Ridiculous. The pictures, menu and dress code made us think this was an upscale, classy place. Instead it was a club-like place with aggressive security, run down amenities and a very strong weed smell. Will not be coming back or recommending to friends who want a nicer place to get drinks/food. Super disappointing. (PS if you’re going to charge $11-15 per cocktail, maybe use that up charge money to refurbish the general sitting area so it matches your prices.)
