   My partners dinner arrived cold, he sent it back and had word that the chef agreed that it was cold and they would replace with another. By the time it returned almost 10 mins later, it meant that we both were pretty much eating dinner at separate times. I had deliberately slowed down eating my dinner so that I could eat alongside my partner, meaning I didn’t enjoy it as much as I should have. The manager on duty and service staff didn’t seem to bother about our experience and were only interested in whether the food tasted ok or not and letting us know that they replaced it as soon as possible. The manager didn’t offer an apology at all and actually said that they did what they could to resolve the situation after my partner said he didn’t want it. We reminded him that it wasn’t that he didn’t want it, it was that it was cold to which chef and kitchen staff had agreed. It didn’t matter to them that we were eating separately and had the experience ruined with having to deal with it and had a pretty poor experience when really we should have been enjoying a nice meal. We don’t go out to eat often and this should have been an enjoyable meal at a nice bar. The staffs attitude was pretty poor and in my opinion they didn’t care about the customer, at one point I could see him talking and pointing at us while speaking to a waitress to bring our bill which automatically included a service fee. Of course we paid full amount which we expected to do so, but considering there was admission of fault by the chef and poor service I don’t feel we were treated fairly and I will be unlikely recommend it to anyone else.

   Excellent as always. Went to watch the scotland match and have dinner. Fair play to the Smoking Fox, they even sorted a 3-0 win for us.

   Good food and service. Music playing way too loudly which left the entire dining area talking at the top of their voices whilst eating a meal. OK for some I’m sure. Not for me.

    A straightforward but well-presented menu, some delicious veggie options and the staff were warm and enthusiastic. The portions were filling. I would eat here again.

    Had a fantastic meal very impressed with quality of food and the service was impeccable. My only issue was the noise level. I thought having football on full blast in the restaurant area was unnecessary and then then music went on full blast shortly later. It was the middle if the afternoon so thought it could have been toned down whilst diners were in

    First impressions were a bit mixed as the dining area seems to be a mix of booth seats and mishmash of unmatched tables and seats, however the overall impression is comfortable and relaxed so no real issues there. The music was excellent. The staff are very friendly and efficient. As a couple we were placed on a table combination for 6 diners. Probably more to do with online booking than anything else. The menu is compact but includes a good mix of starters and main courses. The food does not disappoint as biggie schwarma and burger were both excellent, as was the salt and chiii chicken wings starter. The only disappointment was the margarita cocktail, although as it does not feature on the cocktail list it may have been a bit challenging for the bar staff. Overall our meal was very enjoyable and we would have no issues in returning.

    First time at the Smokin Fox and I have to say the food & service was amazing! Some of the items on the menu are a little bit on the pricey side, but the quality is really delicious so worth treating yourself! Brilliant range of cocktails and drinks too. Would definitely come back!!

    We struggled to find a table on our visit to Glasgow, so I went onto the app and located a table so easily. The service was amazing and so was the food and it was a really good price.

    Lovely experience. Staff so friendly and accommodating. We arrived early for our table to a very busy restaurant and girl asked us if she could arrange a drink at the bar and she would come and get us as soon as table ready. As good as her word a few minutes later we were seated. Busy vibrant restaurant but food was cooked to perfection and served with a smile. Cannot fault it. Even noise level although loud we could hear each other speak. Lovely wine and cocktails too. Can't wait for our next visit.

    This was our second visit to the restaurant, the food was just as amazing as the first time and the atmosphere was lively with enough privacy for us, very comfortable, we could have sat all night. Thanks team Smoking Fox, we will be back again!

    Fantastic pub. Great staff & atmosphere for the rugby. Food was brilliant too. Piping hot & fresh! Mix up with our table but was soon rectified. Would defo go back!     Had a great evening, struggled to have a conversation and hear, ended up with sore throat due to raising voice all night. Everything else was great and will go back but at a quieter time.

    An absolutely amazing place. The staff as so attentive and friendly, the food was amazing and piping hot and it was also served really quickly. The menu is extensive and there's some unusual items but every thing we had was so lovely. The cocktails are very boozy which is excellent. Looking forward to visiting again 💕

    We were in at lunchtime so it wasn't rammed or noisy. The food was great, the service was excellent. Only issue was it was cold. Maybe because it wasn't long open but we almost sat with our jackets on. Still, highly recommend. Will definitely return
