Not trying too hard, not overly complicated, and EXACTLY what you are looking for; our menu is the fox's knees. We have got a great selection of Scottish beers on tap, and have recently created an extensive cocktail menu for you to sip on while you catch up with friends. From the kitchen, you can expect feel good pub dishes with a twist made from fresh, seasonal ingredients – we think yer granny would even approve!

Foxes might not be great at sports (it’s hard when you can’t even wear shoes) but that doesn’t stop us from watching all the big games! We have all Sky Sports, BT, TNT & Amazon channels so can show everything from the Scottish Premiership & International Football to the Grand National and Wimbledon. Swing by, pull up a pew and catch all of the action- every table has a view!

Food was amazing we had the Korean chicken and chunky chips. Staff are always so welcoming and friendly. Great atmosphere and they have tvs if there is any sport you want to watch

Service was excellent, our staff member who looked after us was amazing unfortunately we did not get her name, hopefully she will be working again tonight as we are going back again we enjoyed the food so much thankyou for your hospitality

great food and atmosphere ,Steak Frites were fantastic as were cheese nachos and wife loved her veg burger definitely going back next time we're in Glasgow

To be fair it was a Saturday night so quite a busy and noisy atmosphere. The food is perfectly fine for a bar meal but verging on the pricey side for what you get. Once again my bugbear of tip being included in bill. I always tip, but find it rude if it’s added beforehand and generally puts me off going back.

We do make it clear that service is completely discretionary - many guests (particularly tourists) find the suggested service helpful - but we are of course always more than happy to remove service from the bill. Lovely place to eat and always had great service. 1st time trying the Chicken Shawarma.. Delicious! Definitely recommend. Hubby had the steak fries and he would recommend that. High praise indeed as he is very fussy with his steaks. Only slight downside was it was a bit noisy and the the music was turned up slightly so people talked louder but to be expected when people are socialising and raving about the fab food lol.

We do normally have a busy Saturday night so the music is naturally a bit louder - perhaps pop in on a Sunday lunchtime to try our fabulous Roast and the atmosphere will be a bit more serene! We booked the table for 4.15, intending to eat there, have a few drinks, then go to the station, which is across the road. We arrived to be told we had to vacate the table at 6. The table confirmation says food is served till 9, and I suppose I should not have assumed, but I did think that I'd be able to stay till then. What would be the point of ordering food to rush it and leave? If we wanted to eat it and beat it we would have gone to a carry out shop. We had a drink, I would say this was expensive, a glass of wine was £10.75, the cocktail was good though and at £10 was ok price wise. I noticed that the food was £19 for steak pie or fish and chips. Basic pub grub so quite expensive. The bottles of wine were expensive as well for a pub, bearing in mind this is not a restaurant - at £24 for the cheap stuff and any decent ones being over £30. As we could stay and relax we booked Pulcinella an Italian just up the road for 6pm. At that point the waiter said we could have the table till 7.30 as they had a no-show. We decided not to stay and the pressure to leave was a pain. The staff are very nice and the place was busy and very noisy, I didn't mind that but don't get what the fuss is about that the place is so popular.

Hi Jacqui, I am disappointed to find out you did not enjoy your experience with us, as we always strive for the best. I am afraid table times are industry standard varied from 90minutes to 2 hours per table and although our kitchen is open until 9pm that unfortunately doesn't guarantee extension of booking, this should be in your email confirmation but if there is any error there please don't hesitate to contact me so we can fix it. As for our pricing, we are constantly reviewing our city centre competitors and find ourselves in a happy medium position for prices, especially for fresh food product, prepped daily by our outstanding kitchen team - I am gutted you didn't get to try our famous Steak Pie as I can assure you - it is to die for.
