Always a special evening at the Smokehouse Restaurant. From the walk onto the property to cocktails and wandering the gorgeous gardens it was an amazing start. The service and attention to detail is impeccable and the food amazing. Wine pairings are always on point. Highly recommend Smokehouse and Antrim for special occasions!

Dining at the Antrim is an experience, not just a meal. It begins when you drive up to the historic mansion. You're greeted by staff at the entrance. You're shown to the stately parlor for hors d'oeuvres and drinks. You're escorted downstairs to your table. Our names and the occasion were printed on our menu. The food and service were excellent. If you have a special occasion, then the Antrim is the place for you.

During our recent visit to the Antrim 1844 Smokehouse restaurant, we were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and delightful dining experience. From the moment we arrived in the main house, we were warmly greeted by Greg in the Main House. His friendly demeanor and attentiveness set a positive tone for the evening as he promptly brought us our drinks and appetizers. Greg's welcoming nature made us feel right at home and added a personal touch to our visit. Prior to departing the Main House and transitioning to the dining area in the Smokehouse, our waiter for the evening, Tom, approached us, introduced himself, and inquired about our needs. Tom's extensive knowledge of the menu and his ability to recommend dishes that suited our tastes were truly commendable. His passion for the cuisine was evident, and he took the time to explain the ingredients and preparation methods, enhancing our appreciation for each dish. Moreover, Tom's expertise extended to wine pairings, where he impressed us with his detailed suggestions. He took the time to explain each wine pairing, offering insights into how each selection complemented our dinner choices, as well as sharing his knowledge of other wines available. His outstanding service and attention to detail made our dining experience exceptional. The service provided by both Greg and Tom was outstanding, making our dining experience at the Smokehouse memorable. Their professionalism and genuine care for our satisfaction were evident throughout the evening. We left the restaurant not only satisfied with the delicious food but also with a sense of gratitude for the exceptional service we received. Overall, the Smokehouse is a must-visit for anyone seeking a combination of great food and top-notch service. We look forward to returning and experiencing more of what this wonderful establishment has to offer.

Fabulous evening - from the cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the terrace, to the personalized vegan dining menu, the incredible and reasonable wine list, and the amazing servers. We will be back. Wonderful hotel setting @Antrim 1844 - recommend you stay the night! We did 😉

We ate here for my husbands birthday. We had our own personalized menus. Our waiter Tom was outstanding, there was very little wait for anything. We had a 5 - course meal, plus an amuse bouche, and palette cleanser. Each course was absolutely amazing.

We submitted a special request for a steak tartare appetizer that we could share and our request was deliciously honored. I then followed that with Housemade Cavatelli, Artisan Mixed Greens, Filet Mignon and the Artisan Cheese Slate as my dessert. All of the food and all of the servers were outstanding. The Smokehouse Restaurant ambience included live piano music just a few feet away from our table for two on our anniversary. Great place to celebrate any special occasion!

We stayed at the Historic Hotel to celebrate our Anniversary and had the Anniversary package which included a 3 course wine pairing with our dinner. The meal and service were superb from 1st course to dessert. My husband and I had different courses and all were delicious. I had scallops for my entree…3 large scallops on a bed of lobster spicy risotto. It was amazing. Our server were well informed and waited on us beautifully.

Always an amazing experience! From the history, service, and meal, this is the perfect place for fine dining. An ever expansive wine collection in their private wine cellar offers the perfect bottle for any occasion. The bar has a respectable assortment of fine liquors to craft amazing cocktails. The menu boasts delicious options that are masterfully prepared to perfection. What’s not to love about the Antrim or The Smokehouse Restaurant! Be sure to arrive early to walk the grounds and sit in one of the drawing rooms to enjoy conversation, cocktails, and hors d'oeuvres! If you are lucky, there will be a pianist when you visit!
