   Our server was outstanding!!!! He always checked on us and suggested a wonderful dessert which we tried and loved. I've been here before and will come back again.

    Server was fantastic. Be prepared for an extremely loud dining room with unnecessarily loud background music. The food was pretty good - eclectic menu. One diner in our party had a food allergy and although the server was attentive and management was, too, they made his steak with butter and had to remake it resulting in a delay of 30 minutes before he got his entree. The rest of the table's food came as expected, so he was forced to eat after the entire table had finished. I would have thought his steak would be comp'ed given the long delay, but nope.

    Took 10 minutes for server to greet table. Server was disengaged. On phone multiple times through out experience. Had to flag down and ask for refills every time we needed something. Forgot to ring one of the apps in. One guests food came out incorrectly and we were almost done by the time we received the recook. Fries were small and broken. Ketchup was a strange paste? Manager ran recook and no apology offered. Overall an overpriced disappointing experience.

    The food was very good, the service was a bit spotty (we had to ask 3 times for bread), and the food was more expensive than the small portions merited. It was too loud for easy conversation.

    The food and the waitstaff were outstanding! It was noisy and crowded, but easy to see why. The salmon tartare appetizer was worth the whole trip as were the churro waffles.

    Amazing service by one of your folks from NY. Amazing recs on food and was so great about this experience and one we were having in one of the NYC locations in the next week. Love love love all around.

    We booked this restaurant because it was recommended by a friend. Arrived at opening at 11:30am. Seated right away with waters. Waited 20 minutes and finally asked for a server to take our order. It was restaurant week, so 2 of us took advantage of this. Our orders were the cod sandwich, grilled chicken sandwich and the bacon burger. 2 of us had soup as an appetizer. We got our soup about 15 minutes after placing order. Sandwiches came out about 20 minutes later. Cod sandwich was hot on outside but cold on inside. Server brought my friend the wrong sandwich, she questioned him and he said yea that’s the chicken. It was in fact another cod sandwich. She got the right sandwich half way thru our meal. My friend that got the burger loved it. Very disappointed in the food and service. We left the restaurant 1 hour 45 minutes after arriving still hungry.

    The food and the initial service was good. However, it took over 25 minutes for somebody to come and take payment for the bill infect that did not come and take payment. I had to approach the manager to pay. I think this is not good.

    Food was really good -- Kale & Quinoa salad for the win! But the restaurant went above and beyond with service -- my friend left her bag behind, and the restaurant not only called to say she left it, they held it for a few days so she could retrieve when she was back in town.

    Brunch with the gals!! Very good! Great service. Cornbread on Benedict Johnny was a little thin & overbaked, but appreciated it not containing pork. A little surprised my friends didn’t enjoy their cocktails more though! (I think one didn’t realize her drink contained gin!!)

    All of the staff were friendly but our waitress was amazing. There when need her but not hovering, she made excellent recommendations, and was friendly and fun. The food and drinks were creative and delicious. We highly recommend The Smith!

    Our server Ashanti was excellent! Had no issues with us being seated outside, even though it was clear she was busy with customers dining indoors. Food & drinks were phenomenal. & service was above and beyond. Highly recommend dining here! Ask for Ashanti when you go :)

    We went at 5pm for pregame dinner/drinks before a Caps game. We were seated in the smaller area to the right of the entrance, so noise level was reasonable. Other portion of the restaurant was much noisier, FYI. Food was good and drinks were OK. A bit pricey for what we got, but that may just be the general state of things most places given post-COVID and inflation, etc. I’d go there again.

    We didn’t like that they served wine on these little glasses. The Mac and cheese was good. The brick chicken didn’t taste like anything. The burger was just regular but it wasn’t bad. The cookies are really crispy I’m personally like them a little softer and chewy but that’s my taste.

    Food was amazing (best Caesar salad I’ve ever had), service was very good, got everything right, unobtrusive, perfect. My only complaint is the tables were pretty close together and the acoustics are bad. Hard to hear across the table, silverware and glass noise reverberated. Could do with some sound panels to change the acoustics.

    Food was delicious, perfect, awesome, just wao, my tongue will remember and preach about it. The biggest downsides were a little delay with my dessert that was fixed by a really nice waiter from Colombia 🥰🤗, we sent him a hug and also some apathy from our assign waiter, so this part is luck. Overall, it was great this NYE experience, would recommend. They give us little treats to celebrate like bandaids and cornets, also a glass of champagne, that was so nice 🥰✨️. Try to be patient with the attention because is full house, but besides that everything was out in good timmig. P.D. The chicken is yummy but is enormous. Try to make reservations a couple weeks before and if you cancel with less than 24 hours might be charges for each person, so make sure to make all the questions needed when you confirm. If you use uber, plan to go earlier, not after 12 p.m., is not that fun but the ubers get really expensive like the double.

    Food and drinks were good as was service was good. Place gets very crowd, esp. when there is an Arena event, and as a result is very noisy. But recognizing that’s just the way it is when there are so many people in a casual bar setting, it really was a very good brunch.
