Very chill spot. I like how they separated the tables to social distance. However I did notice that they forgot to clean the table in between switching customers. Overall good spot
Great place to grab a bite to eat in the Flatiron District. The restaurant is taking great precautions to keep their customers and staff safe. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and we enjoyed our time at the restaurant.
The food was tasty and I loved the twist they used for their Shirley Temple.
Brunch with friends was great!
Used to love this place, till something drove it off the cliff. Two things just broke my experience. 1)Pricing, why is a BLT with an egg on a potato hamburger bun $18 like get over yourself. 2) Our waiter was so busy we couldn’t even get our drinks refilled, we had to find someone to get our check. It felt like we could have walked away without paying and no one would have noticed. I’ve been to multiple Smiths at different locations many times and I’m sad to say the journey ends here.
The hostesses need to work on their attitude and their competence.
I took my friend here for brunch on his birthday. Our server Chaz was awesome! The food is always fantastic. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants.
My server took almost an hour to take my order and never checked on us after giving us our food.
favorite spot in nyc
Great food, great service, great vibe!
The Smith Nomad was cool. I came out to celebrate a friend's birthday and we enjoyed it.
Tables couldn't be any smaller. I didn't have room to cut my daughter's steak without having to stand up. We got no appetizers, there is no bread basket and with their silly rule of having to wear a mask every time a server came to your table, even to bring you unsanitary salt and pepper we needed to put our masks on. I had to sit on my mask since there was no room on the table, the chairs are uncomfortable, and the value of the food, not taking in to account the tight uncomfortable seating, was obscene.
I had a burger, my wife had the chicken, and the kids each had a kid steak.
No appetizers, 2 glasses of wine for my wife and I, no drinks for the kids, no dessert. After tip, $200.
I’m so happy they are taking covid precautions seriously.
Great outdoor seating.
A very long wait to order much less get water to the table. Also a long wait to order another drink. The only thing that came fast was the bill.
First time dining out indoors in a year, and I wanted it to be at The Smith.
The Covid protocols all made me feel safe. I was especially pleased that we were asked us to put our masks back on whenever one of the staff approached the table... and when they did approach the table, they waited for us to do so! I hope all restaurants are this diligent.
The Brussels sprouts and the shoshitos were great as ever.
My dining companion loved the salmon dish. I had the new pork Milanese which was very good, but I miss the pork chop (which is what I was hoping to order).
The fries were excellent.
All in all, a pleasing return to dining out indoors.
Feels like a glorified TGIF. Subpar food for nomad location. Cocktail menu is extensive but the quality is below average.
The server was lovely
Great food and drinks. It was my first time dining out in more than a year. The staff was very good about following COVID safety protocols. We had a nice outdoor booth, decent spacing from other patrons. They also had a happy hour special until 6.
This please is everything! The Mac and cheese and the spicy salmon tartare are my go to’s. You can’t forget the sticky tofeee for desert too!! Amazing place
I ate there twice recently. Their chicken under a brick dish is quite good. It comes with mashed potatoes and gravy. Their chicken pot pie lacked flavor, was $25, and I felt that it was overall poorly made.
Great experience. Very good food, lovely, politer service and enjoyed the overal vibe!
Overall experience was okay would not come back from brunch they ran out of French toast so that was a little disappointing the pancakes were basic nothing crazy the Bellini was okay could’ve been better but would love to try the dinner menu heard good things about it
The outdoor seating—covered & heated—is great (I hope it’s permanent), especially since the indoor restaurant is typically extremely loud with exclusively hard surfaces/noise-reflecting decor. We had one slow eater in our party and felt VERY rushed. They sat 4 of us at a 6-top and apparently they have a one-hour time limit (we were there for about 90 min). Perhaps we should’ve been at a 4-top if they knew they needed a 6-top soon? And maybe one hour is too short of a time period when the food takes ~30 min to come out. And that’s without specialty drinks, appetizers, or desserts. The food was fine (everything needed seasoning). But the overall experience & hospitality was lacking from what you’d expect at a staple NYC restaurant chain.
Follows covid regulations very strictly, service is always amazing here and staff is super friendly and great
Great spot for brunch. The food was and seating was great.
I go to this place almost everyday for lunch. It's always great.
Great service, excellent food. They’re doing it right at the Smith. Job very well done!!!
Always great food & service!
The tomato soup is delicious!
fantastic place - excellent service - they didn't rush us which i loved because we had a picky eater with us who couldn't decide - the place was very busy when we were there and everyone around us seemed as delighted with their orders as we were with ours - we will absolutely be back again!
We usually eat at The Smith at Lincoln Center for dinner and always enjoy their mussels. We were at first disappointed when we saw there were no mussels on the brunch menu, but after we both enjoyed different DELICIOUS versions of eggs benedict, we realized we had no reason to be and in fact were thrilled to have chosen something different.
Paired with their craft cocktails, our brunch was one we will look forward to repeating.
Great Easter brunch. Amazing service. Socially distanced. Food was awesome!
Staff was standoffish and McDonalds-like. For the price, should’ve just gone there.
Both the food and the service truly were perfect. Tables were well-spaced, and masking rules were enforced. Terrific Sunday morning dining experience.
Awesome time and would definitely come back with friends!
This was regular dining. Potato chips with cheese fondue was good and the oysters were fresh. Wild horses was a great cocktail and hot toddy was good. We were seated where we wanted to and I am thankful for that. Mask policy is strict.
Great food, great vibes. I loved if!
Gave our table away and didn’t honor 15 min grace period.
Great food. Short wait, always a great experience.
Very nice experience! Good food and good service! Pia
