   Lovely outdoor brunch this morning, delicious food. Service was a little slow but we weren't in a big rush so it was all good.

   The service and food are excellent. Every surface is tiled so the noise level is extremely loud. If you plan on having a conversation where you are heard and you hear what is being said at your table, choose another place.

   Everything was perfect, love the Smith, except the noise level was off the charts, hard to have a conversation.

   Beautiful restaurant, energetic vibe but found it too loud - hard to have conversation across the table. The service was excellent. Food was tasty but portions were massive - the mussels and frites could have been half the serving and still generous.

   Amazing experience like always! Server was exceptional attentive and had great recommendations, even though he was busy with a lot of tables he always kept an eye on us. Table always clean and food fresh and delicious.

    **Disappointed with Our Last Visit** We’re frequent guests at The Smith and have always considered it a solid choice for brunch or dinner. Unfortunately, our experience this past Sunday at the NoMad location missed the mark. We arrived and requested a highchair upon check-in but still had to wait about five minutes after being seated for it to arrive. Water was brought out quickly, but only after we had to flag down our server. As someone who works in the restaurant industry, I understand holiday weekends can be hectic, and service may be a bit slower—but this felt more like disorganization than a busy rush. After placing our order, I had to get up **twice** to grab silverware from a nearby empty table because none was brought to us. A manager noticed and came over to apologize, which I appreciated, and he seemed to try to help. I assume he may have spoken to our server, who did try to keep a smile but later slammed our water bottle on the table and walked off abruptly. My partner was especially upset by that interaction and didn’t want to engage with her further. We didn’t complain again and just tried to enjoy the rest of the meal. The food was okay—nothing exceptional—but the doughnuts were the highlight. When the check arrived, it included a drink that wasn’t available and had been swapped for another, so we had to wait again for it to be corrected. All in all, we left disappointed. We know The Smith can do better and have had much better experiences in the past, but this visit fell far short of expectations.
