   It was too loud to talk to my fellow diners. Everything else was good, but we when you can’t have a dinner conversation without yelling, it’s frustrating.

   Sometimes restaurants pressure folks to finish their meals quickly, but this was not the case at The Smith. We were able to relax and enjoy our meal at our own pace without feeling pressured to move along. Food was delicious too! Good energy, good vibe, friendly staff, overall a repeatable spot.

   We sat at the bar so we could hear each other. Maria, the bartender, was welcoming and fantastic.. Great service, attentive and suggested items that were perfect for our tastes.

   the check in process was hectic and disorganized - the hostess didn’t know what she was doing and I had to ask about our table after waiting for 15 mins and watching everyone after us be seated (we had a reservation). The manager came to the desk and things cleared up quickly the server was scarce - her main section was halfway across the floor so I have no idea why she had our table - took 15 mins to clear the last plate (all the lates were removed sans one with some eggs left) after everyone was done - the we must have waited another 10 mins for her to ask about dessert - she was training someone which may not be smart during peak brunch or give the server fewer tables - food was quite good - manager sent chips which were the highlight of the meal - appreciated he may have heard us talking about the check in - kudos to him

   Love this place. Service was excellent, they did not rush us. Food was amazing. Large restaurant for the city, plenty of room.

    Staff here are very helpful . My friend is gluten free and the manager came over to let us know that they told the the chef so he’d make sure her meal was GF. Just that level of service was refreshing. Great food too! Definitely recommend the brunch!
