The Skunk & Goat Tavern
Fantastic food, fantastic service, low key live music. We love going to the Skunk and Goat.
Amazing happy hour specials! The food was great! We had candied pork belly, calamari, mussels and buffalo chicken dip. We had multiple beer and ciders. The bartender was excellent and everyone was friendly and the service was great!
Many people told us to come here, so maybe our expectations were a little high. My bison meatloaf tasted a little “game- like” without much flavor. And my husband’s prime rib was over cooked and tough. We would probably need to come again and try more of the pizzas and sandwiches. Also our candle on our table was not lit, and this was our anniversary dinner. We definitely prefer the ambiance of The Cork instead.
Great atmosphere and service!!
Excellent food, great service. We will definitely be back!
We ordered two cocktails telling our server we would enjoy a drink while waiting for friends to arrive.. Cocktails were served after our friends arrived and they ordered a drink, even though we told the server we'd enjoy a drink while waiting for friends. We ordered two shared plates. One was delivered. Asked our server to wait a few minutes to put in the order for plate no. 2. No problem, she said. The order for plate no. 2 was never put in. We cancelled plate no. 2 because time had passed and, at that point, friends were finished eating. Server was unattentive and the establishment was not busy.
from the service to the grub it’s a great experience. i had the deconstructed lasagna and it was unique. there were fun layers of flavor i savored.
good stuff. great place.
Burgers and beer night- Tuesday night $10 for burger, beer, and fries. The burger is very good. Get the fries “skoated” (added garlic and butter) -so good!
Sunday evening not too busy, so noise level was low. Good excellent server attentive and pleasant.
great music, atmosphere, food and service...good time was had by all
Had a great experience at The Skunk and Goat Tavern, but am only giving 4/5 stars because we waited an hour for our entrees. We order an appetizer that came out within 10 minutes, but we order 2 fairly simple entrees (salmon and fish tacos), and waited an additional 50 minutes for our food. Gauging by the rate of service for the tables around us, it seemed to be the standard wait time and not an issue with our particular order. Otherwise, the food and drinks were great, street parking was pretty easy, and the service was good.
My wife and I found this place on the internet and thought it looked interesting. We are so glad we decided to check it out. What a gem ! ! The atmosphere is fantastic something right out of a movie. The food was delicious and the waitress was very pleasant and friendly. We enjoyed are dinner so much that we went back for brunch the next day and it was just as delicious ! !
Food and drinks are a little pricey but overall it was a great experience.
Very good environment and food however service was extremely slow. Maybe add another server.
We visited the Skunk And Goat on Father’s Day for brunch at 1 o’clock. The restaurant was busy but service was very good, food was excellent. We ordered a variety of items off the brunch menu. Everyone was satisfied with their food. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Let me start by saying Christina and her staff have once again gone above and beyond for my family and I while dining. Every time we go they continue to impress with their outstanding service and professionalism. Just when we think it couldn’t get any better they go out of their way each and every member of the staff to provide the absolute best dining experience.
Celebrating our anniversary with grown children, had a wonderful meal with attentive servers.
Great food and service. The staff made our Father's Day celebration memorable. Looking forward to going again soon.
The food was excellent! It was my wedding anniversary and they gave us a free dessert with a a large candle in it! I was surprised they gave dessert away for anniversary’s as well as birthdays! Will definitely be coming back. The only “complaint” would be the French onion soup was just bread and broth, there were no onions in the bowl.
Very good food, good selection and excellent service
As this was our first time there, we didn't know exactly what to expect. We were greeted well, and seated early for our 8pm resvervations. A wonderful table, right in the middle. Appetizer, and main meal, both were delicious. The Pepperoni Balls were, seriously, one of the best things my wife and I have ever eaten. Brilliant! The Fried Cheese was amazing (and I'm an Artisan Cheese Maker), perfectly fried, golden crisp. The pizza with a fried egg was divine, and the smash up sandwich my wife had was tasty too! Overall, it was fantastic, and we look forward to going back!

Great food and great service! The Boulevardier cocktail was particularly wonderful.
great food, ambiance, service a little slow, but would love to return. too much interesting food on menu to not try it all!
Nice menu selection. Good food. Good drinks. Very busy on Saturday night.
My wife and I do enjoy going to The Skunk & Goat Tavern, especially because of the food. I have never had a bad meal. I especially enjoy the Reuben Sandwich. It's as good, if not better than any other Reuben in the Erie area. Although the service can be slower at times, the wait staff is very polite and helpful. If we lived closer to this tavern, we would go more often and just sit at the very nice bar and sip on our Manhatten's. Parking is free all around the restaurant and the area itself is just beautiful.
It was very busy, but Maggie helped us out, got us our drinks and order. It appears as if everyone helps each other out!
The food was delicious! I had the Boar Osso Buco , and it was amazing! The rest of my group of my group had the Bison meatloaf. Lovely cocktail! We love it here!
The restaurant was busy but it didn’t affect the efficiency or the quality of the food.
Wonderful brunch with relaxing entertainment! Thanks!
Excellent food and ambiance-worth the visit! Killer marinara sauce.
Great service and the food was amazing! We will definitely go back!
The flash fried brussel sprouts were the best we ever tasted!!
Great service. Great food. Great atmosphere. We’ll be back!
We enjoyed Mother’s Day brunch at Skunk and Goat. The service was great! One of the waitresses even brought out a skunk (display) for my kids to see and touch. Our food came out very quick! The only downfall was the temperature of my French toast, was a bit cool. Otherwise great! Can’t wait to try the normal menu!
Excellent brunch with the family. Everyone enjoyed the outing. Will definitely come again.
Great restaurant! The “vault room” was amazing for a graduation celebration. Private and interesting! Service was great! The apps, soups, salads, sandwiches, and desserts were all great! The entrees were a little pricey ($25-$35) and were “just okay.” The wine list was outstanding. Good selection of mixed drinks. Service was excellent even with a large party of 10. Well worth the short drive from Erie! Enjoy!
Food was great!! Love the Happy Hour!! Our waitress for the second time was Dawn, so nice and accommodating.
We went on a Thursday evening when they had a band playing. We enjoyed the music but it was a bit loud as we were seated next to the band. Overall though we pleased with the experience.
Thank you for reviewing your experience! We are happy you enjoyed our live music on Thursday, it is always a fun night! We will share your comments about the noise level with our team and the musicians. Thanks again for joining us!
Great food. Arrived quickly and hot. Party of five all enjoyed what we ate. We will be back.
Food was top notch, service was excellent. We’ve been before and can’t wait for our next trip back!
