El Kelvingrove Restaurant es el más reciente de los dos restaurantes Sisters que han estado sirviendo solos a los comensales de la animada Sauchiehall Street de Glasgow durante 8 años. My wife and I had a lovely pre-theatre meal last saturday. I had the full three course for £18.95 with my wife being happy having two course for £15.95. When I'm in a restaurant I like to try something I wouldn't normally get at home, so Uist smoked haddock for starters for me was decent although I tasted my wife's Home smoked Black Isle beetroot and it was particularly good. My Main was Ramsay’s of Carluke ham, really excellent, but my better half had the Shetland salmon fillet and she thought its taste fell short of the mark. For my desert I had the superb Poached Scottish rhubarb and our excellent waitress brought an extra spoon to allow the missus to delve in a wee bit and she also agreed i'd made a good choice. Good value for money and we will go back........although the boss might give the salmon a miss.

Only reason I didn't give 5 stars throughout was that vegetarian choice was limited to one starter and one main. Having said that, our veggie friend loved what she had - but maybe offering 2 would be better.

Had a fantastic experience at The Sisters Kelvingrove. Our waitress Jane was excellent, friendly and knew her stuff :-) The food was amazing and well presented. This was my first visit and will definitely go back.

first time in restraint food was of a good quality.however had to wait 35.mins for starter. after that it was fine.also restraunt far to warm.dont think there is any air conditioning. staff were pleasant prices were just ok.dont know if I would go back or not

The food was excellent, the only thing was we were the only people in the restaurant, though to be honest, it didn't spoil the occasion. Our table server was friendly and helpful. Have been on many occasions before, and will return again.

Excellent choice for a relaxed dinner. Great menu choice, good wine list and excellent service. Hopefully back soon.

On Easter Monday we had a lunch which was excellent value. One of us had the pre theatre menu as we were there mid-afternoon. Agreed it was terrific value in a lovely calm atmosphere, though many tables were busy. Service was cheerful and confident. One small thing... the wine was not really as chilled as it should be but it was minor really. Lovely occasion, we'll be back!

thoroughly enjoyed our meal as always - and couldn't believe it had been 6 years since our last visit! great service - great private booth - and food beautiful!
