The Sinclair Ratings and Reviews
We arrived early before a show so had prompt seating. We enjoyed the brussel sprouts, mussels, ravioli, and roasted chicken but had to wait for a glass of wine until after the brussel sprouts were delivered and half eaten. Note that the menu on Open Table did not reflect the menu that night.
This was our first time at the restaurant and Our experience was SUPERB!!!The waiter was very kind and on top of everything!!!
The most amazing was when the cook took time from the kitchen to come and talk to us!!!!
The food was EXTRAORDINARY!!! Especially the roasted chicken dish, which we heard is one of the favorite and they cannot take it from the menu :)
It’s a classic!
Overall, we are definitely coming back and bringing family and friends with us!!!
Great spot in Harvard Square!
Food was definitely delicious. Server put us near the bus station right next to the speaker. This was fine until the volume sparked up to the point that neither of us could hear each other at the table. Service was fine. Food was slightly pricey, but understandable for the gourmet food we were getting. Would recommend for a special occasion dinner out (and would definitely recommend taking a bit more control over where you get seated).
I normally really like the bar/restaurant, but the service just was not good last time. Server kept taking the drink orders for just a few people and then would walk away, ignoring the rest of the table and not returning for 15-20 minutes. Wasn’t particularly friendly or attentive otherwise. Also did not tell me that the bill included an automatic 20% gratuity, so I tipped on top of it and later had to call the restaurant to get it adjusted.
A friend and I decided just to order a bunch of starters. A great decision. The brussel sprouts were perfect, the veg chili hearty and satisfying, and the Mac and Cheese hit-the-spot amazing. Wait staff was great. Shout out to Samuel who was super helpful to these first timers.
The food was very good. The waitstaff left a lot to be desired. We waited s long time to give our order and then waited again for our food. Our glasses of water were left empty and I attended for most of the night. They didn't have cappuccino so we ordered American coffee - and told us they didn't have any sugar! It took over 20 minutes from the time we gave our credit card to pay the bill until it was finally returned to us. Until I asked if there was a problem. No one said their was a problem with their credit card machine. Not worth the trouble - a lot of restaurants have good food.
We had tickets to evening show so made reservations for an early dinner. We lucked out and got parking right on Church street - otherwise it could be a problem. Food was quite good. I was craving a burger and this one was delicious. Fries were very tasty. We had Brussels sprouts to start and they were also very tasty. All around it was a good meal.
while there are WAY too many elevated options within 1/4 mile, those who want the easy lift off app and beer before their live music fix will find the Sinclair kitchen a welcoming experience. bonus pts. for our waitress who helped us with an extra beer ...in a cup to take into the music venue side.
We came to The Sinclair specifically because the band Spafford was performing there.
We came in early to try out the dining experience at The Sinclair and we were very pleased with the ease of reserving seating and the efficiency in seating us upon arrival.
The food was delicious, the wait staff was very professional and accommodating. We will definitely recommend The Sinclair as full evening of dining and entertainment experience. The band Spafford was amazing.
Spafford brought us there for our first Sinclair experience and now we will definitely be recommending The Sinclair to our network of friends and family.
It had a great and relaxed feel. Very comfortable dining room and outside area. I definitely would return for another meal. The Salmon, Cous Cous plate was delicious as well as the specialty drink that I got (forget the name of it). My husband loved his Burger but couldn't finish it because he got full. Then after dinner we attended the concert that was taken place there that night. We really enjoyed it.
We came for a concert in their performance space and had a dinner at the Sinclair beforehand. Because it was Saturday night, we weren't able to sit outdoors and had to settle for the noisy dining room. The servers were overwhelmed as you'd expect which slowed down things. We had the Brussels sprouts and tempura mushrooms to start and shared a pork chop. They were all excellent and ample. Will definitely come again but earlier
We had two small plates: the pimento cheese and brussel sprouts, both of which were exceptional twists on old favorites. Also delicious were two homemade pasta entrees - one with stuffed raviolis and the other with lovely flat noodles. Sitting outside on the patio was beautiful in the early evening. Servers were nice, but not very attentive; it took a good 15 minutes to get a second glass of wine delivered.
We went for dinner before performance at the A.R.T. which is close and we wanted patio dining. The roof patio is great, the crowd intergenerational and lively, service was friendly. The food, well, we both had Ceasar Salads which were skimpy and on the low end of average.....But we weren't looking for a great dining experience, just a bite before the theater, so we had fun....
Ordered their ravioli and duck pasta. Duck pasta was dry and bland with sad bits of duck meat. The ravioli filling was nonexistent, you're pretty much left with thick, doughy pasta skins on your plate. We barely ate our dinner. Manager and server have no care for customer service. Manager offered a free drink card for next visit but scoffed at us when we turned it down. Rude. Why would we ever want to go there again? Pft. Packed the food to go because we didn't want to waste but god, shouldnt have bothered, ended up binning them away anyway. Don't bother going here, there are many other rooftop joints you can try
