Bar is open until 1am Sun-Wed and 2am Thu-Sat

The patio is first come, first served and while we try to honor all requests, we do not guarantee outdoor seating.
The Sinclair is a good go to for Harvard square but the food is just ok.
Great place for a bite and drink before a show. Would go back.
We went for brunch and sat on the balcony. The brunch was delicious, the waitress was energetic and had great service, and it was a bit cool out but they had the heat lamps on!!
The hostess was just awful. She made us feel really uncomfortable and it really clouded our experience.
Had high hopes for The Sinclair given reviews, but found experience lackluster. Service was slow, was not offered a wine list upon arrival, food was average (fish tacos had very little fish and no sauce or flavor to speak of; miso pork was good but sides of peaches and squid ink gnocchi didn't mix well). Maybe it was an off day.
Rooftop lovely but there was a mouse walking around
The sinclair used to be one of our favorite spots to hit. The music venue was our go to for a solid burger. The quality of the food seems to be going down, however and every time we've gone recently we've been more and more disappointed.
There was a mouse running under a nearby table! This took away from our experience
Everything would’ve been great, other than it was so cold inside that the food was instantly cold.
Service was the best. Food was good....but the front deck with Jason's time, patience, and service made the whole night worth the price!
We had a great experience! Solid food and attentive service.
food was a bit salty for my taste but very creative menu and a nice experience overall. i will return and recommend!
The food was great, service was good and one of the best dirty vodka martinis I’ve ever had! But there does seem to be a bit of a mouse problem, we saw at least one during our dinner.
Best brunch ever!!
The food at the Sinclair was good, but a little overpriced. Our only concern was I did notice a mouse run out from underneath one of the booths, so that was a bit disconcerning.
Brunch was mediocre. Hollandaise was a jelly-like consistency and there was about 5x too much on top of my poor English muffin. They also got our vegan friend’s order wrong twice (first brought him a Bloody Mary with anchovies and then tacos with eggs on top). The waiter then said he would comp his breakfast but then it showed up on the receipt anyway... However, the waiter was very nice and apologetic and everything worked out in the end. Food aside, the deck is a beautiful place to enjoy brunch. Probably would come back for drinks only.
Great vibe, wonderful service, food was very good... especially the lobster lollipops, best lobster I've ever had. I would have given this restaurant 5 stars if it weren't for the noise level. SO LOUD!!! We had to yell to hear each other, and about halfway through the meal we all just stopped talking because it was kind of pointless. There's nothing to absorb the sound.
I wanted to like it! Sat for quite some time without attention at the table. Flavorless fish tacos, overcooked calamari, and lame bread they call “pretzels” with flavorless cheese dipping sauce. The cocktails were good though!
Nice space but the service was lackluster. The meats were well executed but the veggie burger was amorphous and required reshaping with each bite to keep it on the bun. Great cocktails. I’ve had plenty of after work drinks and small plates (all great) here but the full dinner experience was disappointing.
Overall good experience
Food was good
Service was goo
Awesome spot, great outdoor dining, fun & great food.
Had a great brunch at Sinclair with out of town guests. Food was delicious. Only complaint was the service was extremely slow. It took 45 minutes to receive breakfast for three people. It was delightful to sit outside on the rooftop in the sunshine.
Came for dinner before a concert. The place was seemingly nice, until we noticed mice crawling around the dining room. We informed the waitress who asked if we wanted to move our seats. We were too grossed out to eat our food after that.
Too hot on the patio - would have been if teh outside umbrellas could have been tilted to block the sun
My portion of cod was way to small, I had to go get dinner after having dinner. I will not return
Food was just ok
Very expensive and very little portions
Not worth the money
Also online menu was very different than actual menu
Saw chef eating French fries while cooking just gross
Very good food and service. Interesting urban ambiance if a little noisy for my tastes.
I took my husband out for his birthday here before we went to the venue for a show. The food was wonderful, yes-good elevated bar food- but the service was just beyond exceptional.
We had an amazing time. Thank you for everything.
LOVE the Sinclair! First time there and will be back for sure! Awesome vege burger and vege chip appetizer - can’t wait to try more!
Pre theater dinner with friends and family. Every was fine
food was really questionable, especially their pan cakes, would not recommend at all. overall food is pretty bad.
Overall food was good. Service was ok. Key issue we had a group of 11 and Open Table reservations only allowed a max of 6, so we booked two groups (6+5). We left two voicemails on afternoon prior and asked when we got there could we have one larger table and they reviewed included the manager and said not possible. Well, we were seated on the 2nd floor and during the two hours we were there the 2nd floor dining area (with exception of 2 other tables) was empty. There is no reason they could not have accommodated our request......
Food was overpriced and not great (burger was well-done when asked for medium, rubbery calamari, 2 shriveled pieces of asparagus came with the cod, etc). The hostess was unhelpful and borderline rude . Service took over an hour to get food. Won’t be coming back
The restaurant was more like a bar. The food was good but not great. The menu was limited. They did not have any bottled water, only tap. The service was very good.
Delicious food for brunch and friendly service. I would definitely come back here for brunch.
We enjoyed mother's day brunch at the Sinclair today and it was a wonderful experience. I had the red flannel hash and it was better than I could have expected. The bacon bloody mary was the perfect concoction of smoke, heat and all the traditional flavors. The service was exceptional, I can't say enough about how great my experience was. My kiddos loved the waffles, and partner had one of the several benedict options. We're coming back for sure.
Food and ambiance were fantastic, however our service was pretty terrible. Our server took 20 minutes to come over to our table to take any drink orders, then he didn't put the drink orders in, so we waited about 40 minutes for them. In the middle of this, he also came up to our table to clarify our food order since he had mixed up his tickets. When our food came, one of our dishes never came out with the rest of our dinner, and the server offered to bring it free of charge-- but while we were in the middle of telling him we would just skip the dish, he walked away from us, coming back a few minutes later to tell us he "hadn't understood" what we wanted to do with the dish. He then walked over and put the check on the table without asking if we wanted another drink or dessert, which we did, but we decided to pay and go elsewhere. Worth noting that he didn't take anything off the bill-- not even the drinks that took 40 minutes to make (and one was a beer). I've never worked in a restaurant and as much as I wanted to chalk the bad experience up to a busy night (although most tables around us weren't eating and were only drinking), the entire rest of my party has worked in the restaurant industry and agreed that the service and experience was atrocious and there was really no excuse. The food was tasty, though.
Too loud and very underwhelming food: salad was bland and uninteresting and the brussel sprouts were very undercooked. Though it was the start of the season, the patio was completely barren. We did find the service excellent.
I do not normally write reviews, however I feel compelled to write this one. First, let me say I've been to the Sinclair many times, and always sit at the bar. The food is good, and the service always great. Four of us were going to a concert, so I decided to reserve a table. We needed to get into the music venue by 8:45, which I told the waitress when we sat down. I wanted to get the check before the show at 9:00.
We ordered several small bites for the table, and drinks. The waitress literally disappeared. The drinks came about 15 minutes after we'd sat down. We never got any food. By 8:10 I stood up and asked where the order was. The response was that they were backed up. Okay, the place knew that they had a sold out show that night, so why not staff accordingly.
Finally, at 8:35 a few plates came out. I scoffed down a couple of calamari and left for the venue. some of the ordered food (brussel sprouts...how hard can they be) never showed up. Two of my friends stayed longer, since they were hungry, and met up with us later. The food, once it came, was good (as always). The house comped us drinks, which was appropriate and nice. Overall, it was terrible. Simply the worst wait service I've ever experienced. I'll only sit at the bar from now on.
Our server was very polite, helpful, and such a joy to have! The did was nothing short of spectacular, as usual. Keep up the good work!
