The Simpson complements Brooklyn’s new restaurant age from Williamsburg to Prospect Park, by offering a seafood friendly Caribbean/Soul Food cuisine and an inspired Classic Cocktail menu infused with the nuances and flavors of the Afro Diaspora’s spice market. The Simpson will embody the soulful vibes and beats of the borough, while capturing the exuberance of the New Brooklyn Renaissance through Art, Music, Mixology and Cuisine. Our waitress was awesome, food was very very good! Only thing I was a little irritated about was the Hostess was rude and I asked if we could get the empty booth she lied and said it was for four people but only sat 2 people there so not understanding why she couldn’t accommodate. But other than that the food was good.

The server Jess was fantastic. Although the restaurant was very busy, she still made a point to check in the tell us the status of our food. From start to finish her service was impeccable. The food was AMAZING. The reggae pasta was the best we ever had. It was well seasoned and a good portion. Definitely will recommend and come back

Second Visit ,Food was Good but they were out of Pork (Ribs ) and Beef (Steak ) so considering it was a Wednesday afternoon those were two items guest were looking for but Sherice the Server was AWESOME !!!

Rosean was the absolute best! He was very patient and proactive dealing with a large party of people. He went above and beyond to ensure that my daughter felt special while celebrating her big day!

The Simpson has long been regarded as a vibrant dining destination in Brooklyn, NY. My previous experiences there have been exceptional, with top-notch service, delicious cuisine, and an inviting atmosphere. Unfortunately, my June 17, 2025, visit failed to meet those high standards. Upon arrival, I was seated at a table uncomfortably close to the restroom, immediately setting a less-than-ideal tone for the evening. After placing my order, I eagerly anticipated a nice glass of Bob Marley to complement my meal, but I waited for over 30 minutes before it finally arrived. This delay was particularly frustrating, as it seemed the waitress had overlooked a significant portion of her section, leaving patrons without attention while other tables received timely service. Adding to the disarray, one of the floor managers attempted to assist in expediting orders, but unfortunately, their efforts did not improve our wait time. Eventually, a manager came to our table to address our concerns, but by then, the experience had already soured. In an effort to remedy the situation, she offered a discount on my meal, though I was so eager to leave that I didn’t even take note of the percentage she applied. Overall, it was disappointing to see The Simpson, which had previously impressed me, fall short on such a critical evening.

The food was AMAZING. Wait staff could have been a little more attentive. It took a while to place the order, to get a drink and even get the bill. Patience is a virtue! The food is definitely worth it!
