   We had a great first visit to the Silos! We loved the dip trio app! All entrees were great too- ribeye, shrimp and grits and grilled chicken. We will be back!

   We went there for Valentine’s Day. The service was ok, could have been better because it wasn’t packed. The food was not good. I had the burger and it was very overcooked. Mac and cheese and pimento cheese were both very bland and flavorless. Will not come back. Overall fun atmosphere though.

   RJ Rockers craft beers has long been known in Spartanburg to be one of the best and it proved during our dining experience to hold true. The atmosphere at the Silo is upbeat and lively and attracts college students and locals. Our server, Morgan, was very cheerful but seemed inexperienced and to her disadvantage under trained in service and not educated about the various beers offered seasonally and on tap. One of our guests preferred a glass of wine—which they offer a selection of reds and whites—but to our dismay they were out of ALL of the reds. Several items on the menu even earlier in the evening were not offered. We ordered an appetizer which took quite a while to come from the kitchen and I actually had to ask a couple of times about it. Our server kept asking us if we were ready to order from the time we sat down even before our entire table arrived. When our food arrived it came without any condiments and our server did not come by to ask what we needed. We had to go to the kitchen and ask for mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard. Otherwise it would have been so dry it would have been hard to eat. Morgan seemed throughout the evening to want to rush us to leave even though the restaurant was not crowded. Before we were finished eating obviously still with food and drink, she asked if we were ready to close out our check. It’s not like the restaurant was closing or anything! This made the experience unpleasant and certainly she could have continued to sell drinks after dinner if she had been more patient. Once closing out our check we continue to have conversation but since our checks have been closed she never checked on us again to ask if we wanted any more waters or anything. It was clear she was done with us. The general experience with service was disappointing to say the least. I guess they are used to dealing with college students.

   We were excited about trying the Silos, but we were extremely disappointed. The first 4 menu items we order they were out of. The server never apologized and just acted like that was a normal occurrence. I was brought the wrong drink the first time and our table was not offered any refills until it was time to pay the check. We will not be back, and I doubt this restaurant will make it in Spartanburg.

   I've been to The Silo for lunch, this was my first dinner experience and all of us in our group LOVED it. The service and drinks were amazing, the foot was stellar. Atmosphere? Felt right at home, it's a wonderful space.

    Very good food with some unique choices, including a chefs special. They offer all of RJ Rockers beers along with some interesting mixed beer drinks. The staff is very knowledgeable on both the food and drink choices
