Family was visiting so we decided to go to Signature. Rebecka was awesome as well as the rest of the staff. We might’ve been the loudest table there due to the 2 smaller kids (6 & 3) at our table. The kids were happy about receiving the crayons and pictures to color! They were very accommodating about sharing the plates. Beautiful view. Food was excellent. Definitely want to try other dishes! Can’t wait to go again!
Easy to make reservation via Open Table app. Service was top notch, Galen did a great job! Food was excellent.
Lots of appetizers to choose from, we decided on the seared scallops and the jumbo buffalo shrimp. Scallops were plump and the jumbo shrimp was well, jumbo!
Lobster bisque was tasty. Main course I had the chateaubriand which was cooked to perfection, very tender. My girlfriend had the bone in ribeye which she enjoyed as well.
Ended with a complimentary dessert for the birthday girl! Lilikoi creme brulee, very good. Big enough to share. I also had an affogato, perfect ending.
Food was good. View was awesome. Service was not so good and it wasn’t even busy. Started out good, then they lost our dinner ticket in the kitchen and our waitress didn’t notice until we complained that entrees were taking a long time. Probably wouldn’t go back.
We came last New Year's Eve because of a gift card and decided to return again to celebrate the Eve and also my husband's birthday because we enjoyed it so much last year.
We liked the ambiance and the food and service was great, especially this year our waiter was excellent. I tried the fish this visit but will stick with the steak next time.
We visited Signature Prime Steak for New Years Eve dining , the food was better than anticipated . Service was great .Best steak we have had for a very long time . the views from this establishment are amazing . A great dining experience but bring your credit card.
Been to the signature multiple times. Wanted to bring out of town guest for their first experience and possibly try happy hour. Unfortunately that section was full. One of the staff members was extremely rude when we inquired about sitting in the happy hour section. Older Asian female told us "sorry we have over 300 reservations" when I mentioned to her we didn't want to lose our reserved table while we wait for a happy hour table that we may or may not get. She also told us "you can sit at the bar, tell that guy to move down" and walked away. Never experienced that type of rudeness at signature before. Other than that the food was excellent as always.
Overall, experience was great and would gladly go back. Britton was super wonderful and was the best part of the entire experience, she deserves recognition and a raise and I don't mean getting her a ladder.
The biggest "downer" was the noise level: the music was too loud, it was difficult to hold a conversation. Granted, we were seated closer to the musicians than most but it was just too loud. The "Noise Level" selections above should include negative choices as well. Or at least, when making reservations, diners should be asked if they want to sit close to or farther away from the music.
Like I said, overall, the family had a great time.
Visited about 4 years ago when it first opened and food was so-so, extremely small portions, service so-so, and very pricey, plan about $120/person including tip. Went back 4 years later and food and service was vastly improved. Portions are still very tiny for high price but taste was much improved. Asparagus still too thick and tough. Pricey but the value seemed there this time. However, this may be an aberration because friend went there about a year ago and stated food was so-so. Perhaps inconsistent cooks and servers, who knows? Customer base seems mostly one and done, well-heeled Japanese visitors staying at hotel so restaurant probably not motivated to maintain consistent quality or value. Bone-in 22 oz. ribeye was superb though. Music level was good so you couldn't hear people seated next to you but could converse easily at own table. Nice view if by window.
Back in town and decided to try and get an early dinner in. Retirement is coming up fast and wanted a great year end meal.
Was greeted nicely upon our arrival. We were seated in a booth and it was better than some other restaurants but I would have wanted a regular table. Decided to not say anything and just stay in the booth. Ended up being okay anyway.
Steaks. I had the NY strip for the flavor. Ordered it med/rare and it arrived perfectly done. Sides consisted of grilled asparagus and creamed spinach. Also came with a side of mash. Everything tasted great.
The service by Kaylie was excellent and she was very attentive.
But, the best thing I had was the starter of scallops (raw) with ponzu sauce. The flavor was delicate, was thinly sliced and just about melted in my mouth, mmm mmmm mmmmm.
Would definitely return. The price was on the high side.
The ambiance was perfect for the special occasion we were celebrating. The staff was very attentive from the very beginning when we checked in. I was a big Ruth Chris fan before my visit, thinking they had the best steak... The Signature steak was out of this world good, I would recommend for special occasions of just a great night on the town. Wines was a little pricey, but the rest of the menu was well worth the cost - highly recommend for views and food.
It was an ok dining experience. The setting does feel like you're in a fine dining restaurant but we got tucked into a small corner when there were so many other booths available which were empty as we left. I was also surprised our waitress (even though she was good) was working so many tables. I commented to her that we could tell she was working really hard. My steak came out slightly salty, not enough to make a big fuss about but something I wouldn't expect from a steakhouse. My lobster, on the other hand, was excellent and I appreciated the birthday dessert at the end. What annoyed me was that the other waiter asked us if we wanted "flat or sparkling water" in the beginning. I guess it's my fault for assuming flat was tap water but then a bottle comes out and I already felt like we got scammed. Why didn't he offer the option of tap? Normally we'll say something but I told my husband we'll let it go since it's my birthday and it was just a $4 mistake. But in the end, those are the feelings you leave with especially when it was just ok. I would normally post a picture on my social media page but didn't bother this time. I took my friend here a year ago for her birthday and we had to flag someone down for service after waiting for a while.
The steak was exceptional, but more do the service! The waitress was on it, and when a “hiccup” was noted -due to wrong steak order- the owner or manager came by to give us a choice to keep the steak (no extra charge) and brought out the right order steak pretty quickly. On top of that, because it was a special occasion aka Wedding Anniversary, we got a complimentary Creme brûlée dessert and my cappuccino charge was taken out as well. I would definitely recommend to others AND it is one of my top favorite restaurants that I WOULD HIGHLY come back for more.
We loved it. We needed a place to go to dinner before seeing the Nutcracker. It was the first time I had been there. The ambiance was AMAZING. We had a wonderful booth for two that was tucked away, and we had a great night view of the city and Friday night fireworks. I believe they sat us there because I put "date night" as the occasion when making our reservations. The food and wine were really fantastic. We will definitely be back again. Highly recommended for any special occasion or date night.
We had the wine room for our company Christmas party and it was fantastic!
Not only was the room beautiful but the food and service was out of this world.
We should have taken pictures but the pupu's went out as soon as it hit the table, as will as our dinner.
I just asked everyone who went to the party if they had any pictures to share and they should "no", they were to busy eating.
We will definitely come back.
Excellent restaurant and incredible food. My pork chop was massive and one of the best chops I have ever had. Another had the NY Steak which he is a fanatic about and he commented it was one of the best he ever had. The only mistake was the waitress completely forgot about the salad I ordered and by the time I noticed it was too late, the main course had arrived.
Took my family there to celebrate my young cousins birthday and to see the Friday night fireworks. There was a mistake made when our leftovers were packed up. I called to complain, and the GM of the Signature, Kenny Duranditto treated me terribly. He never apologized and his problem solving skills were absolutely horrible! So my low score in service was because of Kenny. His waitstaff made a mistake. Mistakes are made all the time. It is how you recover from your mistakes, that is an indicator of good management. Kenny Duranditto is an absolutely poor GM, especially at the price point of the Signature. I would definitely NOT recommend going there, especially when there are other steakhouses on the island with the same price point. If you want an excellent steak and excellent service, I recommend Wolfgang Steakhouse at the Royal Hawaiian shopping center. Food is better and service better too.
