Piano is too loud, it makes it difficult to carry on a conversation.
This is our first time dining here. The view was spectacular and the service was excellent. We ordered the Tomahawk rib eye for 2 it was perfect although we expected a little larger portion of the rib and steak as other restaurants would serve it. Overall was very satisfied with our experience dining there.
This is our third dining experience there. I come back every time for the steak and the view. Other places have great steak but one's view is of 4 walls ( though nicely decorated) or a street level scene. But floating so high above Honolulu, taking in the sunset and eating a superb piece of beef is tops for me.
Food was great! Our waitress was great! Little noisy next to the bar
Great service and great food!
This is the place you go to if you want to impress a date.
Always 5 star service and food
Our favorite restaurant!
Peter was an excellent host and served our cocktails, appetizers and meal like a professional.
The avacado/strawberry/onion salad, shrimp cocktail, lobster, and tenderloin were delicious and presented perfectly.
We always have a great dining experience at Signature Prime!
We booked for Valentines evening... very busy night. Sad they did not have their nightly HAPPY HOUR, which should have been updated on Open Table maybe? Nice little music trio playing that night! Service from our Waiter Peter was excellent! Would ask for him next time def! Food excellent, service awesome, great variety of appetizers and the main dishes were well prepared! Colorado rack of lamb was a bit undercooked for medium... noted, but good portion and delicious! The filet mignon was excellent, cooked to perfection at medium rare. side dishes are pricey, but recommend you share. Truffle mashed potatoes excellent, creamy and so tasty! The creamed spinach was also excellent, made with heavy cream! Appetizers we tried were the Calimari .. which was a delight, and Peter brought us a couple of other sauces for dipping. Also the jumbo shrimp cocktail consisted of 4 huge tiger shrimp plated with a little garnish and cocktail sauce. 2 of them usually would make a main course.... so again... share is a good idea! Drinks are pricy, but it is Paradise... and clearly one of the best restaurants in Oahu, and they are very proud of the high caliber of service and ambience... on the 36 floor of the Ala Moana Hotel... Very good wine list as well... They have plenty of high end single malts and their wine selection was excellent. Wine bottles ranging about $35-$50 upcharge from what you can purchase at wine store... so not stupidly priced! It was our anniversary as well, and Peter brought out a fabulous creme brulee for us to share, au gratis! What a fabulous touch... as that is our fav dessert! We will go there again for sure!
Excellent place for an intimate evening. Guys, spend the bucks and treat her right.
Such fast service considering fine dining... friendly and prompt service!
Excellent food and good service with one of the most beautiful views of Honolulu.
The food was really good. We enjoyed the total experience. The only fallback was the price but it was comparable to other restaurants with the same type food and ambiance.
The signature is a favorite of mine. It was an off day for them I guess. The server spilled sauce from the appetizer which splashed on our clothes. The filet mignon had a mushy mashed potato texture. Then when we were waiting for a new filet and we had half eaten our other entree, we realized that we had not gotten our soup or salad. We mentioned that to the waiter who ran to bring it. I think if he had waited a minute, we might have just canceled the soup and salad. The rest of the food was wonderful and the view was so nice. Probably just an off day.
My new fav steakhouse.
Yuki was such an excellent server, and Jordan the bartender really made wonderful drinks for our dinner. Food was absolutely fantastic, and couldn’t have asked for a better night out.
Although the menu is limited I still love the food that my wife and I ordered. My wife and I have only gone there twice so far but I can honestly say their menus are excellent choice. The staffs are very pleasant and welcoming. The ambiance is very nice. The view of the city have an awesome panoramic view.
Everything about The Signature was on point! The food, the drinks, the service, the view, sooooo good! We had the veal chops and the filet mignon, soo perfect! Would come back again! Oh and the view, super sweet!
Signature never disappoints, well I’ve only been here twice, but it can only take one horrible experience to never return. That’s not the case here. Service and food were great! With the exception of their complimentary bread, it looks a lot better than it tastes. Don’t get hung up on stale bread, that’s not why you go here. It’s great steak and an amazing view.
You know, if you’re into looking at the sun glistening on the ocean like stars in the sky and watch the sun caress Diamond Head as it sets...it’s alright. I personally enjoy the building skyline. I marvel at the combination of all three together. Our food was cooked to perfection. We were given truffle mash potatoes with our meal, which I wouldn’t have ordered on my own because I don’t like truffle oil. This was wonderful, I find myself day dreaming about them and contemplate if it’d be worth going back solely for a serving.
The next day, I was sad to have to eat something else. I missed my prime rib and truffle mash potatoes. The only downside was the wine list was great, but I couldn’t fathom paying triple the cost for a bottle of wine.
We were very displeased with the service the first time we dined at The Signature. The restaurant came highly recommended by a few friends, however, the service we received ruined our view on this restaurant. So, I was very reluctant to go back a second time. However, my husband thought we should give it another try. SECOND TIME AROUND WAS MUCH, MUCH BETTER! Service was great! Food was outstanding. Got a free dessert as well in celebration of our anniversary.
The food was great. We ate at a half dozen establishments and your value was, by far, the worst. Finally, the service was atrocious. Several staff coming to the table asking the same questions about our drink; nobody communicated. Felt like calling the restaurant just to get our waiter to visit us. You run out of green tea and takes forever to get this news.
Ultimately, the chef deserves the credit because at least the food was delicious.
Celebrated a birthday and did not leave disappointed!
Beautiful views, wonderful beverages (wines and mixed), delicious food, luscious desserts and excellent service (by Yuki and crew). Looking forward to celebrating another special occasion at the Signature!
Very good food, extensive (and expensive) wine list, fair service.
Great good service
For a romantic dinner Signature Steak and Seafood is the place to go. Beautiful open ocean views of Ala Moana and Waikiki beaches. Their bar has a good happy hour menu with select half price appetizers and drinks and some steak specials. Dinner service is impeccable as is the food. We shared a chopped salad, a tomahawk steak special (18 oz. of filet mignon on a large bone) and grilled asparagus. The restaurant provides a dish of complimentary truffle mashed potato to share. Everything was seasoned to perfection and so delicious. We also shared the chocolate bomb ala mode, a light mousse covered in chocolate ganache with our after dinner coffees. It was my treat for picking the Rams to win the Superbowl.
Located atop the Ala Moana Hotel, this restaurant boasts amazing views of Waikiki and Ala Moana. Amazing views and food that sets them apart from the other steakhouses I have ever experienced on this island. Their Wagyu New York strip special was absolutely sublime. Truffle fries, lobster mac & cheese, mashed potatoes were all fantastic. Service could be a little fine tuned and work on timing. The waitress did a phenomenal job in servicing our party of nine however she lacked the support of her teammates (bussers). I’m sure service will be different for smaller parties. It’s definitely a must place to go and celebrate any special occasion. One word of advice when going up to the restaurant, any elevator on the first floor will take you up there. You don’t have to use the one with the carpet with the velvet rope on the first floor that is very deceiving.
Amazing view. Totally romantic! Our waiter, Nick, was professional, fun and devoted to our needs. This is a high end spot. Perfect for special occasions and once-in-lifetime experience.
My wife is a food expert. She considered Tom Colicchio’s steak house in Vegas to be the world’s best. After our dining experience at The Signature, his place is now #2.
She said it was the BEST meal of her life. I agree 100%. Delicious!!!
The service was overall outstanding. Definitely felt like a guest at home. The food was amazing. Did not love the crab cakes or the red wine I had. The wine tasted corked.
The staff was very accommodating upon arrival! We had reservations for 6:30pm but checked in at 6. We were led to our table right away even though we were early. We also were supposed to sit at a small square table, but I asked the hostess if we could sit in a booth. She checked if it was okay, then easily moved us there. Our waiter also made it possible for my husband to order a happy hour item even though happy hour was over.
Food was excellent as usual! I appreciate the consistency of the quality of their food. Best rib eye and lobster Mac n cheese I’ve ever had!
Ambiance was loud because the restaurant had a party there, while the piano played in the background. But it was not bothersome to us. It’s always fun to hear familiar songs being played.
We had a great time and will continue to come here for our anniversary!
We had a wonderful anniversary dinner. The food is excellent, the service very good, and the view of the sunset was awesome.
Great service, excellent food and beautiful scenic view.
A little noisey for a fine dining restaurant during happy hour.
Wonderful restaurant! The food and service was amazing!!
Was really great steak and the side dishes were good also but a bit pricey $$$
Great staff, great food and great ambiance.
