Nice place, great server, great view of river. Menu was small but had a lot in it.

Service was so detached and impersonal. No introduction, no recommendations. “How is everything?” “Good”. Are the only phrases used. Such a fun ambiance with zero personality in service. Two out of the seven entrees on the menu were unavailable. Both of which we wanted to order. Bummer.

The Shore Room was probably the best dining experience we have had for a long time. We were early and they seated us at a booth. The staff was amazing. We came here for breakfast and the food met well beyond our expectations. We will visit again and maybe try dinner next. I highly recommend The Shore Room.

My wife and I are new to the area. We got a tip on this restaurant from a co-worker. We came for Brunch on a Sunday and had an outstanding time. The food was terrific, our server Ashley was on point and she was super nice as well. Everything was a complete 10 across the board. Can't wait to come back. I'll be ordering the same exact thing again. Great job Shore Room!

I love it here, everytime we stay at the Renaissance we have breakfast or dinner here and it never fails.

Love the Shore Room! Been there several times now and the food and service are consistently fantastic! Highly recommend the koji rubbed ribeye as an entree!

Our waitress could have been a little more attentive but the food was good, and it was fun looking at the Truckee River outside.

My friend and I both ordered the Cobb Salad for lunch, and 10/10 would recommend! The wait staff was attentive but not annoying (they checked up on us just the right amount of time). Ambience was lovely. Looking forward to patio seating becoming available as the weather warms.

This was an exceptional experience for myself and my fellow nurses!!! GREG was amazing and made sure all of our needs were met! The food and ambiance was perfect! We will be back!!

We dined at the Shore Room on New Years Eve. Even though we live in Reno, it transported us to another place. I felt like we were in a fine dining restaurant in the Bay Area on the waterfront. At first I was taken back by how expensive the 3 course dinner was, but soon realized it was worth every penny! The service was outstanding and everything from start to finish was delicious. The menu items were gourmet and they were obviously prepared by a trained chef. It was a lovely experience!

Menu is fun and full of great items. Some eclectic. Some traditional. Great service! Can't beat the view in any restaurant in town.

Everyone was very kind and accommodating. Excellent service. I had the fish tacos and my husband had the chicken sandwich, all of which was delicious! For dining right on the Truckee, great value and ambiance. Will definitely become a new regular spot for us!

Menu offerings are great. Quality mostly good. Service excellent and engaging. Osso buco was hefty portion, but overcooked and somewhat dry. Beets and octopus were great!

This was the cutest brunch place I’ve ever been too, the service was awesome, we got our food super fast and it was amazing with huge portions. Definitely recommend.

Lunch date before the holidays.

First: Mocktails! As someone who can't drink alcohol without triggering a migraine, I was SO pleased to see mocktails on the cocktail list! I chose one and it was absolutely delicious.

While my meal was excellent (it always is), this time I had dessert - bread pudding. The ice cream and bread pudding was so delightful. I can't stop thinking about it - definitely a wonderful treat.

I love this place and will definitely be back!

Nice location, good service, overpriced for quality of food.

Overall it was great! I wish our server came around more with hot coffee.

The salmon Benedict’s was delicious! I will totally come back for that.

The noise level was not energetic - it was LOUD. At only 50% capacity I would not like to be there with it full. It was also very cold. I was inside and away from the windows and very cold. I needed to eat with my coat on.
The food was tasty and the service was very nice.
I'll go back, when it's warmer and at an off hour.

We enjoyed trying several of the small plates they offered. We plan going back when friends come to visit.

It was my first visit and I was very impressed. Everything about the Shore Room was wonderful. The ambiance as I first entered, the friendly greeting from the staff and the food was simply delicious! Our waiter was exceptional and was very helpful.

Wonderful evening on the deck by the river. The appetizers tasted so amazing that we didn't really have room for dinner. The house wine was delicious. It took our server a while to get to the table and by that time Happy Hour was over, but she honored it anyway because of our wait. Our server was delightful and efficient.

Excellent service, awesome food...bottomless mimosas are a real bonus! Right along the river so whether you're inside or outside, it's beautiful!

Wonderful dinner on the patio adjacent to the river. Lovely weather and setting plus excellent food and service made for a grand experience.

All 4 meals were very good. The double cooked french fries are beyond good. Order them on the side if they don't come with your meal.
