Permanently Closed - At the Shore we believe in 3 things; great food, great service and great atmosphere. We promise the first two, you help create the third. So whether you want a quiet dinner for two, or it’s a celebration for twenty we’re shore you’ll be happy.

If you enjoy fantastic seafood. Fresh scallops, mussels, together with hot or cold, fresh or smoked, salmon and regularly changing specials offer something for even the most demanding diner.

It could be however,that steak is your thing. Only the best fillet, sirloin and rib-eye are selected to ensure tenderness and full flavour every time. Our famous hand-cut chips are served with all our steaks. Again, specials regularly complement the main menu and include venison, lamb, and duck.

Went for meal on Easter Saturday weekend. After 6 . Very expensive. Prawn cocktail very disappointing. Consisted of half a lettuce not cut and 5 prawns each we counted. Main meal was good , beef medallions and t bone steak. I had dessert which was again disappointing for price.

Haven't been here for some time as it was disappointing - what a change - the menu had something for everyone - helpings were of a great size and the cost was spot on too - we'll be back

Ambience was friendly, disabled access suitable for mobile clients but would struggle with a wheelchair user due to layout. Service was oustanding with friendly, efficient staff. As a disabled person I can commend the staff who went the extra mile to help. Even sourcing cushions to elevate my leg ( fused at knee). Macaroni cheese a little overpriced but very tasty. Vegetarian quesilada outstanding with many varied flavours and good presentation. Overall an excellent dining experience.

Went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Ideally situated for a trip to see the Kelpies. From the outside it looks like a normal local pub, once inside the interior is modern and fresh. The staff were welcoming, and they were brilliant with my 2 year old girl. The service was efficient and friendly. The food was excellent and the menu was well suited to the type of establishment. The gourmet hot dog and the choc orange tart were particular highlights.

We needed a restaurant near the Falkirk Wheel and I chose The Shore. I have to say we were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of The Shore. We were a large group of 8 with 4 adults and 4 children. The Shore were so accommodating and the service excellent. The food was great, good range for the children's menu, exciting specials and super deals on 2 and 3 course dinners. Best of all the veggies were yum, asparagus, fresh peas etc, and so superior to the usual over cooked veg you usually get in a pub. We will definitely return.

Excellent food, friendly and efficient staff and good value at normal prices but with their current February offer Tues-Thurs this would be nigh impossible to beat.

My husband and I frequent The Shore often, sometimes just to sit in the lounge and enjoy a bottle of wine or as we did on Saturday evening go for a meal! I love it the surroundings the staff and the food everything is always lovely! We are treated like family now, on first name terms with almost everyone management and waitresses and bar staff alike. The food is always very well presented and I feel the menu offers choices for even the fussiest of eaters, everything is laid back so you never feel you are being rushed, even if you are the only ones left sitting in the dining area! I just love it Always!!! We will definitely be back (as arnie would say!!)

Went for fathers day lunch with my husband, dad, and two children under 5 . Lovely attentive service, great with the wee ones, large selection of food for kids which is freshly made. Food for every course was delicious! Not a single complaint from anyone. The 2 for/3 for X amount is great value for money. .will be back !
