   Brilliant roast, one of the best I've ever had out. Generous and thoughtfully plated. Fresh and beautifully cooked and seasoned. Ambience was great when we got there. An extremely loud table were seated near us before our food came out and we couldn't hear each other until they got their food. With hindsight I could have politely asked a staff member to have a quiet word, but I'm far too polite I guess. I would have hoped maybe someone may have asked them to tone it down. I could see many other diners glancing across at the din. Food took quite a while to come out, but we were fine - if the kids were younger that may have been a bit of an issue, so bear that in mind if you have little ones who get hungry. Needed to ask for the gravy that we had been told was coming, but aside from that everyone happy and pleasant and helpful. Food was spectacular, drinks were lovely, will 100% go again.

   Sunday lunch never disappoints. The food is great, the staff are helpful and efficient. Never feel rushed, just a really good place to eat.

   Lovely local pub. We were there for Sunday lunch, having been several times before. As on our previous visits we really enjoyed our meal. Food was delicious and nicely presented, good choice of beers and wines, traditional Cotswold stone surroundings and no muzak, just the buzz of conversation.

   Lovely Sunday lunch, food incredible and staff very attentive (except a frosty reception after an issue with reaching the pub by telephone to change booking time). We will definitely be back none the less!

   The Sunday roast at the Ship Inn Brimscombe is excellent. I have experienced this at least 4 times in the past 12 months and it has always been of a very high standard . I would recommend this to anyone.

   One Word - SUPERB ! Could not fault it - food was delicious - very generous portions and excellent service as always ! Would not hesitate to recommend. Four very happy diners - Thank you.

   Very enjoyable lunch in a good atmosphere. Had double baked goats cheese soufflé. Delicious. My friend had a small fish and chips which was just the right size and also delicious. Will be going back soon
