Fantastic food and lovely pub only downside was we had to keep getting our own drinks and they didn’t come back for dessert .

The place was quieter than our previous visit but still a good atmosphere. There were three of us and we had Chilli Squid and Whitebait to start. The squid was great with a very good sauce, the whitebait was a bit ordinary. We had Sirloin Steaks which were excellent and well cooked and the other main was Roast Cauliflower which was good but a bit dry. The service was very friendly and efficient. Overall we like this pub and will definitely go again.

We are strangers to this area, visiting family. Booked the Ship Inn for Sunday lunch, what a find, excellent food and great service,we must return.

Very good service excellent food my only complaint was it was somewhat noisy with too many children but this was understandable because they were very busy

Sunday lunch was really exceptional. The staff were all lovely and service was great. They were busy but kept coming to see if we wanted to order another drink or dessert without being intrusive. Highly recommended.

My go to venue for Sunday lunch. Been to ShipInn a number of times. Great ambience and proficient service, delicious food at every visit. Wiĺ be back again.
