   Got to the restaurant ten minutes prior to our booked time. The pub was in darkness and very definitely closed. No email, no sign on the door - and nothing since to apologise. It should not be still taking bookings . Really poor.

   Came to Cornwall for the weekend, booked this restaurant on open table who confirmed the booking and ordered a cab to take us there- when we arrived the whole place was in darkness and closed.....

   We turned up for our booking and waited for about 10mins before anyone appeared. We were then told that no waiting staff had turned up so we may not be able to have any food. Was told the chef was in and one other person was in the kitchen but were refusing to bring the food out! After purchasing a drink we were told there was not going to be any food that night although the relief manager actually gave two other people some food while we were there. We left our drinks and walked out because of his attitude and he also knew nothing about our booking although we had an e mail confirmation. We paid out for a taxi to get there because of the awful weather and for drinks we ordered only to have with food. Absolutely disgusted with the whole fiasco. Would advise people not to go to this awful place.

   We Really enjoyed our Meal , in a nice pub with good atmosphere , the girl who was working ( on her own ) was fantastic really friendly and willing to assist at anytime despite being rushed about by a busy night!

   We come to Wadebridge once a year for a weeks break and always dine at the Ship 2 to 3 times during our stay friendly staff great service and food to die for what more can you say perfect.!

   Food we had was of good quality and we did enjoy it, but our first 2 choices were not available ( and not informed of one of these until after we ordered). Also forgot our drinks order and service chaotic. When we booked asked us if it was for s special occasion, which it was. This was then not acknowledged during our visit, so it would be better not to ask!

    great evening out at the Ship Inn. Had a lovely meal, accompanied with some great beer (Sea fury), then afterwards we joined in the local folk songs - a great and surprisingly fun evening.
