Good location by the River Dee. Relaxing atmosphere with decent food. The waitress was very good and nothing was too much trouble.

We booked to go to The Ship for a family get together. From the time we arrived, we were looked after by the whole team and nothing was too much trouble. From giving us extra portions for starters, so we could split them more easily, to giving us a dash of wine we we joked that some cream had been spilt in an empty glass (which it hadn’t!), the service was exemplary. We were able to stay on our table the whole evening and at no point felt rushed. The food was also amazing, and excellent quality. We will definitely be returning and will rave about this place to anyone who will listen!

Fantastic restaurant and bar, very unique and close to city attractions ( city wall and river). The service was wonderful very attentive. The meal was delicious. We even went back the night after, still the same service devious meal. We would highly recommend.

This is our second visit, the service and friendliness of the staff is first class. The menu has plenty to choose from & very good value. This is a dog friendly venue which is an added bonus for us dog lovers

All the Staff were very helpful and attentive. The food was very good and there was a wide choice of dishes, so no problem in finding something that we all liked. Would definitely book to eat at The Ship Inn again.

The Ship Inn was great and we were pleasantly surprised. Really enjoyed the food which was very fresh and piping hot. We had three courses and a variety of dishes between the four of us and were very impressed with all of the food. The service was ok, we weren’t in a rush but it was a little difficult at times to get the attention of the staff so maybe a dedicated food service waiter would be better than the bar staff having to juggle food service with bar tending. Would definitely return!

Lovely pub serving fabulous food. All the staff were friendly and helpful and drinks were very good. We really enjoyed the surroundings and atmosphere of the Ship Inn. Highly recommend.
