About this restaurant

Shelter is an American fusion restaurant as well as a cool and contemporary hangout. Inside the restaurant, diners will see many of the modern trends of today's restaurateurs on full display. There are hanging Edison lights in oversized glass bulbs, exposed ductwork, dark polished wood tones and slate-gray brick accents throughout the interior. Outside, Shelter has created a social space that feels like a friend's backyard. There is astroturf, picnic tables and even a cornhole game that patrons can play while they sip a beer or wait on their food.Shelter's menu is mostly full of traditional American favorites like the flat top classic burger with dill pickles, lettuce, mayo and onion. However, the signature dish of the house is the wonton tacos. Each order comes with 4 "tacos" inside crispy wonton shells. Some of the recipes include seared tuna, carne asada, Cajun tofu, mojito chicken and braised pork.
