We booked at short notice for 3 of us as we were staying nearby. 2 of arrived on time and our friend was delayed by a family emergency for 45+mins. The staff were lovely about us waiting without ordering food. After 40minx we did and then our friend arrived 45mins plus. Initially we we told the kitchen had cleared up and they would see what they could rustle up. Then we were informed they could prepare him a meal . We were so pleased both with kitchen staff and the waiting staff who could not have been nicer throughout. And the food was excellent. Family emergency also resolved

Our first time here and we weren’t disappointed. It’s a nicely laid out and decorated pub/restaurant. Excellent service and a nice (although very quiet) atmosphere. Decent menu, but expensive and not a great selection of beer - Mr G was not impressed with that! We will return but probably not on a regular basis.

The food here is delicious. We had asparagus with poached egg and blue cheese hollandaise sauce. Rump of lamb with broccoli, kale and potatoes and jus. Then coconut crème brûlée with pineapple and mango. Each course was perfect and served in a pleasant and timely manner.

A last minute decision to have a nice meal in our new town, and we hit the jackpot, lovely venue, staff and service, and amazing food. We have found our new local pub 👍

A fabulous eatery with a great atmosphere and a sustained level of quality food being served over the 3 visits I have made. The staff are very approachable and strike the right balance of attentiveness without appearing overbearing, whilst ensuring you have everything you need. I love this place, it’s relaxing, has a great atmosphere, is aesthetically pleasing, and delivers great quality food. Add this to the really friendly staff and (pardon the pun), you have a recipe for success! I highly recommend you give it a go.

We had a lovely meal, in pleasant surroundings. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The sole we had for our main course was cooked to perfection, a truly delightful dining experience. I would highly recommend
