   one of the very few organic restaurants in midtown. the interior is a dump but quality of food and inexpensive prices make it a super place. i am pleased to have discovered it. there is NO excuse for restaurants not serving organic eggs for brunch so thank you.

   This restaurant is high quality in all respects - always welcoming host, warm inviting atmosphere, interesting nautical details in the interior design, good quality wine list, and outstanding food. It is one of those restaurants where the chef knows what he is doing - not only the seafood, - fish, oysters, scallops, but creative salads and “pirogis” are really good.

   It was very good, but we did not realize that there was a special menu and that the regular menu would not be available. Both of us had looked at the menu online and were looking forward to things that were not being offered the night we were there. What we had was very good though, and it's a very sweet place.

   Have eaten there many times and food always excellently prepared and presented. Very warm ambiance and friendly servers. Every guest taken there has always wanted to return.

   the surfburger is very good and was cooked just the way I asked which is medium rare. the coffee is ground to order and also excellent. it was my second time there and this time the service was very lax and we waited what seemed like forever for our main dishes. the staff was apologetic and gave us a complimentary dessert and our friend an extra glass of wine which was the right thing to do.

   I enjoyed a delicious lunch with a dear friend and The Shadmoor was just the place for us to meet. The service is great, delicious seafood and an environment easy to talk! PS: you’ll find the restrooms behind a hidden bookshelf wall!
