   We were a bit disappointed, we were the only ones in the restaurant on a Saturday night. The food was tasty but I had seabass, it was one fillet , on a few saute potatoes with a bit of broccoli. I thought it was expensive for what it was, I think it was £17.50 , I was still hungry after I had eaten it. Service was excellent and the waitresses were lovely . Its a shame as its a lovely pub but its put us off going back

   Great service, good food, warm & comfortable room. Lovely to hear church bells in the morning. Wonderful rural setting for walks and traditional pubs. Will return.

   It was lovely food staff ambience the lot, however we waited 40mins for our dessert, but didn’t complain as the Seven Stars was FULL and the staff were run off their feet. Looking forward to the next visit.

    Lovely venue, warm, inviting and comfortable. Staff were great, friendly and helpful with a ready smile. Roast dinner was very good, good quality meat and cooked to perfection. The only thing that let it down was the gravy which was clearly packet based and was fairly unpleasant. Get the gravy sorted and it would have been five stars all the way.

    Called in here before the theatre in Malvern. Service and food was excellent. The staff made sure we were served in plenty of time. I cannot fault the service and food.

    Simple menu with classic options including veggie & GF, which my partner needed and was provided with no hassle. Food was of good home-cooked standard - not astonishingly good, but good. Service was excellent, attentive but not intrusive. Perfect for our Sunday lunch for two. Would definitely go back.

    Two meals were good, but steak meal was poor. Steak was rare rather than medium as requested, tough and tasteless. Menu was reduced because of some problem in the kitchen apparently.

    The leeks were uncooked. The halloumi burger was a mean portion. The chips were good. The room was cold. The service friendly but the food took a long time which was odd as we were the only people eating.

    My husband and I both had the sea bass which was absolutely delicious! Cooked to perfection - flavoursome and well presented. Thank you to the two female chefs and the servers - most from South Africa. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening!

    My grown up son, a friend and I had dinner on a booking there last Saturday night at 8.30pm . At just before 9.30pm, after we had finished our main courses, we asked to see the desert menu to be told by the waitress that there would be no puddings as the chef had “gone upstairs” and no further explanation was given when I questioned exactly what that meant. It was clear that this was their unilateral action and certainly wasn’t due to any incapacity. There didn’t seem any acknowledgment that this was clearly odd when we queried those actions and her acquiesced response although it was intimated that the chef was able to, and did, make these decisions at will. I have never started eating after being presented with a full 3 course menu to be then told half way through that we couldn’t complete our meal order. The whole ambience was very strange - no one in the front bar when we arrived and only 2 people sat there when we left and only 2 other tables (of 2 each) eating in the rear dining room when we arrived and both left before 9.30pm. Not exactly roaring trade and with such an ambivalent attitude to their customers they deserve not to be any busier: indeed it would appear that people have voted with their feet. So what was supposed to be a full evening was cut short in a most bizarre and incomplete fashion. Anyone thinking of eating there should be warned !

    Goats cheese and watermelon salad had not much more than a teaspoonful of something which might have been goats cheese (but had none of the flavour of giants cheese) and a smattering of tiny pieces of watermelon - but masses of raw onion which wasn't mentioned as an ingredient (and which I happen to dislike). Very disappointing.

    The menu choices are not that extensive but the food is good and we’ll cooked Service was excellent with friendly and helpful staff. Sensible prices made the visit good value and worth a positive recommendation my. Will definitely visit again.

    A deceptive restaurant- unassuming from the outside but very pleasant surroundings inside. The welcome was friendly and courteous.Special food requests catered for. An enjoyable evening. Only negative was the overly long wait for the drinks to arrive before the meal.

    The young chap serving was very attentive and helpful. Despite the restaurant being full we didn’t wait long for our food which was fresh and reasonably priced. The gin was beautifully presented!
