   Pleasant staff, food excellent . We arrived late due to a traffic jam the staff were very good about our late arrival even giving us a choice of seats. Our only criticism was my voucher included fizz and although it was written on the voucher they did not offer it at all. Eventually I mentioned it and was given one glass, when I stated this at the desk when leaving I was told you could have another glass as we were going we did not receive this . I think that the drinks should have been given to us straight away to avoid confusion and a loss of fizz which was a gift .

   This was my first time visiting, I had heard many good things about it. The day that we went there was a wedding being held at the venue which I think altered our experience from what you could expect on a normal day. We were the only table in the main room so there was not any ambiance. The service was quite slow but I would put this down to staff being preoccupied with the wedding service. I would be keen to try the venue again to see if I had a different experience

   Returning a year after our wedding at the Secret Garden we had a lovely afternoon tea, the food was excellent and they accommodated an allergy without fuss. Would recommend for a real treat

   Lovely place and the afternoon tea was terrific (and very filling). Staff were very pleasant and polite, and only comment I would make is that there was a slight lack of attention to customers. Whilst I appreciate the fact that we were left alone to enjoy our meal, perhaps the occasional look out onto the terrace would have been appropriate to ensure everyone was happy (they weren't busy at the time). When we needed our teapots refreshing, I had to go inside to ask, as no staff were on duty outside. That said, we enjoyed our experience with you and would perhaps come again sometime. David.

   Really enjoyed our Afternoon tea it exceeded our expectations and the walked garden was exceptional. Very beautiful and added to the relaxed ambience. The staff where attentive and even sang Happy Birthday to my sister when presenting her birthday cake. Lovely! Thank you Secret Garden.

   I am a vegan & when I first booked I was told that they didn't do afternoon tea for vegans which I thought at the time of booking was strange also disappointing because I wanted to join in with my friends. especially that the reason for the booking was a celebration for a 80th birthday. I asked if I could order something else from the menu, but I was informed they couldn't do that. so the only result was to go along with my friends & I would just have a cup of tea. When confirming my booking the day before, I spoke to a very nice helpful man, (I didn't get his name) He reassured me that he could get the chef to do a vegan afternoon tea for me. When we all arrived, the same man booked us in, & once again said it had all been sorted out for me to have a afternoon tea. When mine arrived it was excellent, lovely sandwiches, a good selection of cakes, & the scones were the best I have ever had. my friends & I had a fab day, The staff were lovely, we sat in the garden & the atmosphere was just perfect. I would like to say a massive thank you to the staff for making all of our day a very special one in the celebration of our friends 80th. We will most defiantly be back to see you again. Jax

   Such a lovely afternoon at The Secret Garden, the staff were really friendly, the afternoon teas were yum, setting was pretty and lovely and quiet. Would definitely go back and recommend to others.
