Our experience at The Sands Restaurant was so enjoyable and relaxing, with exceptional service, Quality food, and an impressive guitarist adding to the relaxed ambience. I personally ate the Beef Cheek Gnocchi which was amazing, I’ve never had beef so tender. Our entire party of 10 couldn’t speak more highly of their meal's and the service, we will definitely return.

Our first experience was in the general dining area and it was organised chaos although the food was good. Our follow-up experience was in Shirley's Bar and Restaurant and was an excellent evening with great service. Returning to the general dining area last night the food was good, however, back to organised chaos, flustered staff (probably under-staffed) and extremely noisey.

Lovely views over the golf course. Staff were pleasant. Food quality was only ok for mains. Not enough calamari in the calamari salad which was probably half a lettuce with 6 small pieces of calamari. Standard parma too salty. Spring rolls were fine. Mac and cheese croquettes were tasteless. Too expensive for mains given average quality. Great coffee and deserts to finish. Probably will return for coffee and deserts.

Steak was delicious and service great. I think there is less noise in Bunkers so easy to talk. Need better sound proofing in Shirley's

We had a fab night celebrating a family birthday, the staff were attentive and friendly, the food came out quickly and was lovely and it was a very relaxing atmosphere. Can recommend the sands for a great meal and casual night out.

We are enjoying the themed nights, and especially enjoyed steak night as the rump was delicious and cooked as requested. The service was a great improvement on our experience two weeks ago.

Steak night was delicious. Service was haphazard, organised chaos, with no structure. Queueing for food and drinks should be separate.
