The Sandbar serves up the freshest Seafood in a warm sophisticated atmosphere with offerings such as our fresh oyster bar, wood burning grill and weekday Happy Hour promotion offered.

Located in the heart of world-famous Granville Island, perched over the water front with views from every seat. Guests can enjoy the bustle of the market, the non-stop energy of False Creek and the shores of Vancouver’s West End. The busy animated open kitchen gives the guests the “Granville Island Market feeling” plus an up-close look at the chefs as they prepare their seafood creations.

As wonderful as always. We have visited The Sandbar multiple times and it never disappoints. Wonderful service by Matt, fantastic sushi from Hoshi, and an overall excellent experience. We will continue to come here for celebrations and regular dinners alike.

Had a great evening celebrating mother’s day and a birthday. Food is always good and the service was great. Having the live music is a real pleasure. We’ve been here many times and every time has been a positive experience.

My brother and I took our families and our mother for Mother’s day dinner. Really nice evening. Service was great and the food was fantastic. We will be coming back for sure. Thank you Sandbar for a great evening.

Both the sablefish and halibut were excellent. The clam chowder was also very good. Service was flawless.

We did not have a good experience with the seafood chowder, my dad experienced severe gastrointestinal pain.

Visited the Sandbar to enjoy a meal with a friend visiting the West Coast and it did not disappoint. We were fortunate to get a table outside with the most gorgeous backdrop/view. Ordered the halibut that was delicious but temperature wise was not hot. Had the cheesecake for desert which was decadent. Our Server was amazing. Will definitely return.

We had a great first experience at The Sandbar, Rhiannon was just perfect for our lunch. PS, thank you for treating us to the wonderful chocolate mousse for our 20th anniversary. Real delight
