   The reservation had not been recd at the restaurant from Open Table. But they got us seated anyway and it was a lovely meal

   Visited this pub on Saturday evening. Service was friendly and food really tasty. Well worth a try

   I wanted fish & chips which wasn’t available- found this strange as it was national fish and chips day! Wine expensive - pretty much London prices per glass. Pleasant staff.

   Food was lovely, staff very helpful, presentation of food great, but Yorkshire overdone. I enjoy the meals here although dont have many choices due to food intolerances. Would be helpful to display dessert prices too.

   Great little place, food very good and excellent value for money. We decided on this place as it was local to The Regent before a show. It looks good following refurbishment. We will definitely return.

   My daughter had steak which she requested rare but came extremely well done. I suspect it had been standing. In all fairness the chef accepted responsibility and changed it. I had the vegetarian wellington which had good pastry but too much of it and I couldn't taste the filling. This was served with tinned potatoes, peas and carrots which were disgusting. Will not be eating there again. Even for pub grub it was not value for money.

   Food and service was fantastic my only complaint was that the table was so tight to the tables behind and in front so we had to sit beside each other rather than across from each other, as there was no way you could of got in
