The Salted Vine Kitchen + Bar offers a unique variety of share plates with a modern-country farmhouse decor, in the base of the downtown Hotel Squamish, the city’s oldest standing building, circa 1910. The colourful oil paintings, wooden serving boards and ceramic dishware are all the work of local artists. The cozy country-cottage design, which includes exposed structural beams in a bright lounge abutting the open kitchen.

Incredible food. Love the Prix 3 course menu. Every dish was delicious and service was as great as usual. Best restaurant in the Sea-to-Sky corridor!

Everything from the cocktails to appys to mains, as well as service is always on point.
This is easily the best restaurant in Squamish.
We try and make it in at least 1-2 a month and it never disappoints.

One of the best days spots in town. Big fan. Service is great and wine list is phenomenal

Tip: When you go, try to get a table on the side of the restaurant, tables in the middle feel very open.

Friendly and tentative staff.
Social distancing and safety practices are in place.
We were sat beside the kitchen which was quite bright so we will request to sit on the other side next time just because it’s my preference for ambiance but it did not affect our overall experience.
Food was great! We’ll definitely be back.

A few plants or something to warm up the space would help. Also the chairs and tables are a bit utilitarian and don't match the higher quality of the food and service

Absolutely unreal! Went for a friends birthday dinner, and one of our servers was nice enough to tell us about their happy hour special. We back the next day for oysters on happy hour, everything made for a great experience. Will be back!

This was a very pleasant surprise!
Not knowing where to eat in Squamish I checked out Tripadvisor for suggestions.
We were not disappointed at all. Food was delicious and service excellent. I will definitely be recommending this little gem to others!

Overall the restaurant feels like it doesn't know what it wants to be. It's priced to be fitting for a nice meal out, but the atmosphere and food does not fit that price point. The atmosphere screams more of a dinner that just got a fresh coat of paint. It is cold and uninviting, the large number of glass doors and windows makes it feel like it is a place for me to come on a hot day and eat a sandwich, but then the food price and $5 table bread snaps me back to reality.

I suggest staying away from here if you are looking for a fancier resturant as right now they do not understand what they want to be.

My gf & I were visiting for the night & treated ourselves to the Salted Vine after great reviews and recommendations. They seemed a little flustered when we arrived a few mins early for our 8pm reservation.. but we were in no rush & more than happy to be patient and understanding of the Covid procedures.
Once we sat down it took a while to be greeted by our waitress.
We ordered the Pim 1 and Mai Tai (great cocktail menu!)
Our charcuterie board was absolutely amazing. Our dinners on the other hand... mediocre. I had the flank steak- which was great. The Chimichurri was so good and those carrots! To die for. My friend on the other hand had the Lamb Bolognese & was not a fan. She only ate the gnocchi... unfortunately to her the flavour was lacking. She compared it to a pasta mean from a can. We did let our waitress know she did not enjoy her meal & she seemed completely surprised. The manager came over as well & we informed him too.
All in all if I’m ever in Squamish again I may be back To get that charcuterie board and a cocktail.
Very cute place & loved the ambiance.

My husband and I were here this past weekend to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary and absolutely loved the food! Everything was well seasoned and we could definitely see that they take pride in good quality foods. We will for sure be returning to The Salted Vine Kitchen + Bar on our next trip to Squamish.

We had great food and service at the Salted Vine. Cocktails were great so was the food. I gave a couple 4 stars due to the fact that servers were not wearing masks at all here. The kitchen staff were and the bartender I believe was but our servers did not wear masks or attempt to keep any distance between us. I think during if you are serving food this should be mandatory. I understand as a patron we are taking that risk but considering masks help mitigate it, that should be happening as well. If we can't while we eat food and drink that is where the responsibility should be with the restaurant.

The food was okay, service okay, land for both of those the prices are high. If your hopes rise when a steak is served with a butter knife, then flattened on first attempt at a cut and a request for a steak knife is met with a raised eyebrow......
