The Salt Line menu and cuisine is New England embodied in Washington, DC. Drawing inspiration from the Northeast’s best oyster houses, The Salt Line focuses on seafood – both fish and shellfish. The raw bar features the best bivalves and crustaceans the east coast has to offer. In addition to the raw bar program, Chef Bailey and his team offer both comfort classic like fried clams and Stuffies as well as truly elevated chef-driven options like our seafood charcuterie. Finally, The Salt Line is the first restaurant in DC to participate in the Dock to Dish program which works directly with local fishermen to highlight only the freshest, most sustainable catches. “New England meets Chesapeake”
