   I’m a big fan of Saltline. I think it’s a great establishment. However, a couple of friends and I went for Restaurant Week. It was not a pleasant experience as far as the food choices. They were out of the lobster roll, the broiled cod, and the chocolate dessert. It was unfortunate. The bright spot was our server. She did an absolutely wonderful job. Her attitude made the food situation bearable.

   The cheeseburger lived up to the hype! We were on the outside indoor seating but the temperature was good with the heaters.

   What a fabulous place for brunch in Navy Yard! The food was great, but the service was top notch! We weren’t rushed, we were able to switch out items and overall I’ll be going back!

    Loved The Salt Line! The Lobster Roll was expensive but definitely worth the splurge! The true highlight of our time had to be our waitress Sheryl she was a delight! Gave great recommendations and truly met all the standards for five star service :)

    Nice place by the water! We were there at night in January so we sat inside. Nice and fresh interior. However the menu was ok for us. The “kids” had burgers and we had fish and bisque which were good. Wish for fish dishes with regular sides instead. Definitely recommend though!

    We always have a great experience at Salt Line, regardless of if we're there for a meal or if we're just grabbing a drink on the beautiful patio. Every member of the staff that we interact with is friendly. Most recently, we brought friends in for dinner on NYE. Our waitress was Sheryl who is always friendly, helpful, and remembers small details. Food was consistently good, as were the drinks. Love this neighborhood spot.

    The outside area is warm and basically enclosed. Nice to have the regular menu for the NY Eve celebration.

    I was at the end of a late evening and craving local oysters. The story on the Salt Line web site is excellent and I found it to be accurate. I had prompt seating in the outdoor heated porch section and attentive service. Basil Hayden martinis were on-point perfection. Lobster bisque was divine. Local fresh oysters were prepared with great care and from a delicious selection. I will return with my family to enjoy again.

    The lobster roll needs to be removed from the menu. The cost is too high for gummy tough meat. The handling if that alone is why I would rather not return. My other guests did however say they enjoyed their food.

    We were greeted enthusiastically when we arrived and seated immediately. Service was a bit slow and the server seemed in a rush to leave our table each time they returned. Lemon drop martini served in something other than a martini glass. No room for substitutions, i.e. more shrimp instead of oysters on the waterman's platter. Food was good not great and definitely more casual than the “smart casual” dress attire mentioned on the website.

    Lovely dinner on the enclosed patio! They easily accommodated our party of 9. Service was perfect from beginning to end, including a birthday dessert (thank you Nakia!). The oysters were very fresh. Everything was delicious!
