Welcome to The Saint Bar & Kitchen! Formerly St Andrews institution The West Port, the Saint has recently received an extensive renovation creating cosy, modern lounge areas and a refreshed, extensive garden area so you can enjoy whatever the Scottish weather throws your way.

Please note that our kitchen closes at 9pm so we cannot offer food after this time.

    I have dined at The Saint numerous times, but last night my experience was horrendous. Megan M, our server, had an evident negative attitude and seemed to be irritated to have to serve my family. Additionally, she ID’ed one of my family members (which I understand is her job), but then did not ask for the ID of two other members of my family and my peers at neighboring tables. Her reasoning was that “the big bosses” were in during her shift and that she had to ask everyone. Yet, she did not ask everyone like she claimed- coming across as targeted/blatant rudeness. On top of that, she never checked in on our meal and never asked if we needed anything. By the time we had finished, we were all ready for dessert, but when she came back to our table with a box, she handed us a check. Megan did not ask if we wanted dessert or asked if we enjoyed our meal. Her drab attitude lost the restaurant revenue and I will not return or recommend The Saint to anyone ever again. Overall, definitely not worth the value and the food was subpar. Megan was rude to us and made us feel like we were less than other diners- it seemed like she was avoiding us.

    Was a bit disappointed this time. Came with 3 friends for the first time before and it was amazing so decided to take another friend to experience the same, but unfortunately it wasn’t. I was asked when booking if it was a special occasion and i explained it was my friends Pearl Anniversary thinking they would make her feel special but it wasn’t even mentioned by any of the staff 😢

    Had a lovely last night meal to top of our St Andrews weekend at The Saint, the food was amazing, the vibe of the restaurant was fun and lively, the cockatils were so tasty, over all a very enjoyable experience and will be looking to come back if we’re ever in St Andrews again!

    It’s no coincidence that the staff members are on the ball . 3rd visit in as many weeks , fir drinks and food , We had pre booked which is always advisable if you don’t want to be disappointed. Food served perfectly,drinks very promptly.no messing about here . Prices are very good for value . But I think the staff are what makes the saint a cracking restaurant.a credit to management.both guys covering the floor on sat afternoon are great. Will return soon , thanks
