Curated by Aaron Taylor, Atlas Restaurant Group’s Corporate Chef & Chef Partner in this concept, the menu puts steak in the spotlight with over 11 cuts from Chicago-based meat purveyor Meats by Linz. The Ruxton will serve a mix of wet and dry aged prime cuts of Black Angus Beef, as well as dry aging Long Island Duck and Bison from Virginia’s New Frontier Farm in-house. To complement the steak options, seasonal shellfish and seafood entrees will be available including dover sole, Maryland rockfish, whole live lobster, king salmon, Chilean sea bass and more.

Not sure why we hadn't visited prior to today. The food and service were top notch. Our servers were on point, pleasant, and knowledgeable. We shall return.

My boyfriend and I went to celebrate my birthday and it was an amazing experience from beginning to end, everything we ordered was amazing and our waiter was so nice it was a great time and we can’t wait to go back again!! We ordered the wagyu sliders 10/10, the Australian wagyu 10/10, the filet mignon 10/10, creamy potato’s and the roasted Broccoli as sides 10/10 beautiful restaurant!!!

This was my first time dining at the Ruxton and I was thoroughly impressed with the service Ryan provided, the food and the ambiance. What I did NOT like about my dining experience is the way the hostess treated us when we first arrived. She was extremely rude and abrupt. Also, the two weeks leading up to my reservations I received DAILY text, calls, and emails informing me and reminding me about your dress code, which I was already aware of when I made the reservation. What upset me about this is, these contact methods was excessive and to get to the restaurant and see that very few people followed the dress code and when the RUDE hostess greeted my party she looked me up and down as if I was not properly dressed or overly dressed cause clearly our party was the ONLY ones following the dress code. Although Ryan our waitress made up for the horrible initial treatment. I am not sure if I will ever dine there again because of the excessive emails, text, and calls and to only see that the dress code was only enforced on “certain” people. Gabby J. (Party of 4 on 6/22)

From the moment we walked in the door, I knew we were in for an experience. The colors were bright and inviting, the music was upbeat and the hostess was attentive. We were promptly seated and the two ladies that took care of us were knowledgeable and very informative. They made awesome suggestions to us, as first time patrons, and all of them were spot on! The house bread is fluffy and buttery and delicious. We ordered the lemon butter prawns, shared a waygu tomahawk with a side of creamed spinach, one Nashville hot chicken fried lobster🔥🔥🔥 We ended our meal with a warm butter cake. Every single thing we had was absolutely OUTSTANDING! The food was so good that it made me dance at the table🤣🤣My husband gave a compliment to the chef, via our server, and at the end of our meal, the chef came out to meet us. I thought that was really cool. We also met the manager, Jerome, who is an absolute joy. Personable, attentive and professional!! Literally, everything was so good that we can’t stop talking about it!! Ambience, staff, cocktails, delicious food, vibes, romantic…this place has it all! We will be regulars at this restaurant, for sure!

Food, service and ambience were great. Sides (waffle fries & Mac N cheese) were a bit salty, but still very good Only Negative was a 3% facility fee”. That’s ridiculous for a high end restaurant. It should be included. There’s more than enough profit in the food and drinks.

This was our first time at the Ruxton II made Reservations for Father's Day for my husband as well as his birthday. The food was excellent. The rack of Lamb was my favorite. The butter cake was delicious. I wish I had ordered one to go, lol. we will definitely be back, and big thanks to Demetrius for the wonderful service and knowledge of entrees. We had a really great time . Thanks to the Ruxton for making this Father's Day and birthday special.
