Curated by Aaron Taylor, Atlas Restaurant Group’s Corporate Chef & Chef Partner in this concept, the menu puts steak in the spotlight with over 11 cuts from Chicago-based meat purveyor Meats by Linz. The Ruxton will serve a mix of wet and dry aged prime cuts of Black Angus Beef, as well as dry aging Long Island Duck and Bison from Virginia’s New Frontier Farm in-house. To complement the steak options, seasonal shellfish and seafood entrees will be available including dover sole, Maryland rockfish, whole live lobster, king salmon, Chilean sea bass and more.

By far one of the best restaurants I have dined at. Sad I didn’t go sooner. The entire staff was amazing especially our waitress. The food was amazing. The restaurant itself is amazing. 12/10

I made a reservation here for my boyfriend's birthday and it was amazing! We were greeted with a beautiful birthday card and had very good seating. Our server Demetrius was very sweet and knowledgeable. The food was amazing. Everything had flavor and the drinks were good. He enjoyed the Filet Mignon. We really enjoyed our dinner here and will be returning. Thank you

The food and the service was absolutely outstanding! Never had an experience quite like it! Everything was cooked to perfection and well timed! Drinks were delicious! Will definitely be coming back! Only negative would be the loudness of the music and the music selection. For the food to be considered fine dining, the high energy early 2000s pop music seemed to be out of place.

I do have one negative comment; I read your website in its entirety and was disappointed to see so many men without jackets, shirts without collars (sweaters/polo shirts) and we were seated between 2 gentlemen who were wearing sneakers. I made sure to have my spouse dress appropriately. I hope this is not going to become a regular occurrence of men in sports wear.

The food, service, and decor of restaurant was great. Ms. Wendy was pleasant, very informative for us the make decision on our food and beverage choice. Definitely will go there again.

We had a phenomenal first experience at The Ruxton. We were celebrating our 10th anniversary, and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing, from the buttered bread, to the chargrilled oysters and steak tare tare. My filet mignon was a little overcooked, but it wasn't enough to have them redo it. I hate sending food back. It was still very good, along with the Mac and cheese and creamy spinach. The warm butter cake was so tasty, but we were stuffed and had to take half home. Portions were sufficient, service was great, and they added some nice touches for us, since we were celebrating. It was definitely more lively and active than we had hoped, but we still had a really nice night.

It was our first visit to The Ruxton and the experience did not disappoint. It is pricey, but the food quality and variety of options was terrific. Not big steak eaters so concerned whether we would find options that appealed to us. We had the tuna tartare, caesar salad (one of the best I have ever had), chicken fried lobster tail, miso sea bass, oven roasted broccoli, and all were tasty. My only suggestion would be that everything was just a bit oversalted fro my taste. We finished with the butter cake, which was a worthwhile indulgence, and a well made decaf Americano. The service and atmosphere were excellent, not pretentious at all. We would definitely go again!
