The ahi tuna nachos was excellent. Sauce was very flavorful. The seafood linguine was very tasty and plentiful. The whole fried snapper with Asian chili glaze was just okay. The fish was a little dry and the glaze a little too sweet. My complaint is the menu is limited. Need a better one. There used to be more dinner salads and more main dishes to choose from. We’ve been there numerous times over the years and it just wasn’t quite as good as it used to be. The ambiance and views are great.

What a pleasant place, with views of the sunset and special service made up of competent and very friendly professionals! From the moment we arrived everything was perfect, from the reception, waiters, starter, main course and even the charming congratulations on my birthday that they sang to me! To end the night, the coffee flavored with lemon was also delicious!

Ambiance was wonderful. We sat outside for the gorgeous view of the sunset by the marina with pleasant oldies/jazzy tunes (nothing too loud, or hype'y, but very comforting). Spinach artichoke dip was great. Moroccan lamb shank was nicely executed. Tables and white linens added to its classy yet fun atmosphere.

The Ahi Tuna special was nice. Good value. Just too much wasabi. The lamb appetizer was dry and over cooked but had good flavor. And husbands lamb shank had more fat than normal. Service was outstanding however. Ambiance and location wonderful. Would return!

This was our first time eating at The Rusty Hook Tavern — a party of eight. Everything about this place rates SUPERLATIVE! Excellent appetizers, entrees, and desserts served appealingly and promptly. Our server, Kate, bubbled over with enthusiasm and expertise regarding our questions and attended to our needs with a smile. The outside seating provided a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere. Whether you choose fish, lamb, or beef, your tastebuds will experience an explosion of culinary delight. The portions are generous, too. We shared two desserts —the chocolate cake and a specialty orange cake which tastes just like a creamsicle — DELICIOUS! We definitely plan to return. Everyone had a wonderful time! Loved sitting outside overlooking the water. The food and service was excellent. The hotel next door had a lively scene in the pool and at the pool bar. Therefore the noise was quite loud and disrupted the overall ambience. Definitely get the bang bang shrimp and calamari!!

Our group came in last minute with fresh fish after a day at sea. Kareem and the staff were quick to take the lead on cooking up our bounty along with delivering a plethora of sides and cocktails. Our waitress, Aretha (RESPECT), was a beauty and gave us spectacular service. Ambience and vibes were on high; round tables the likely culprit.

What a gem!! The menu is varied and has some very unusual items that were spectacular. Our favorite was the Moroccan Kafta and Hummus. For a very hearty appetizer, I recommend the Bang Bang Shrimp and Calamari. The service and view were fabulous too. This one has definitely gone to the top of our list in Pompano Beach!

We had a nice dinner at Rusty Hook. We started with great drinks, shared ahi tuna appetizer and shared the Captain Platter. Everything was excellent. Unfortunately the restaurant was playing music from a loud speaker above our head as well as a band was playing live next door. The competing music was a lot of noice.

We had an amazing experience. The owner Karim personally seated us at our table. Our waitress Amber was fantastic. The poke tuna nachos were absolutely delicious and our branzino and snapper fish were both very well done.

Overpriced tourist restaurant. I liked my dinner but my husband did not like the fish and chips. We got there before six, but they would not honor the early bird menu for my husband even though he came in at 6:02 (had to park the car). The waitress was very nice but the policy that you could only get the early bird dinner if you placed the order before 6 is ridiculous. Also, the happy hour drinks were only available if you ate at the bar. It's a lot of hype but not anything special.

We had never visited this restaurant before but was going to a concert near by and looked at previous reviews. From the service to the food everything was terrific. We sat outside overlooking the Marina. We both had different fish meals. The fish was fresh and prepared perfectly. We will be back.
