   We had really high hopes for The Rumpled Queen. Let’s start with the good stuff: - the theming is on point! Loved the decor!!! You can tell so much thought went into it- even down to the tiny details. - the staff is SO kind and welcoming! - the story behind the owner and her dream is inspiring. - the lemon cheesecake is to die for! Now let’s get to the not so good: - the menu is LIMITED. - along the same lines as above- there is little to no room for changes to menu items. For example, if you don’t like American cheese on your burger, you’re out of luck. It’s the only option. If you don’t like carrots, you can’t take them out of the chicken pot pie… etc. - the focaccia is “meh”. Can tell it’s not made fresh in house. - the portions are small- especially for the price. - while the flavor of the food isn’t bad, it definitely left something to be desired. I think we were expecting more for the price point. Overall- I don’t think we will be going back. If we do, it won’t be for a while. I really wanted to love this place but I just can’t justify it.

   So excited to have this gem so close to home! Thank you for a wonderful first experience! From drinks to appetizers to entrees to dessert- all were spectacular! Will be returning soon!

   Everything about our experience at The Rumpled Queen was absolutely enjoyable. From the warm, inviting atmosphere to the thoughtfully curated menu, it’s clear that this place is something special. As someone from Salem, it was such a treat to see a hometown native open a restaurant here—and what a fantastic addition to the community it is! The owner’s passion and attention to detail truly shine through in every aspect. I will definitely be back (soon)!

   Everything was just fabulous. I came tonight with ladies I go out with once a month for dinner. We try all different restaurants and everyone raved about the food here. I had the cheeseburger and it was amazing. And of course I had to take home my favorite dessert the lemon meringue cheesecake. We will definitely be back.

   The smoked whitefish dip was amazing. Small menu but the food is done very well. Great place and will be going back

   The food is spectacular! It's a beautiful restaurant. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We talked with numerous other diners around us. The place was buzzing with excitement!

   The staff accommodated our request to sit next to our friends. Menu is small but with enough choices for most people. Prices are a bit higher, but is reflected in high quality ingredients and fine dining techniques. Background music was too loud, but we asked and staff did turn it down a bit. Everyone in our group loved their dinner choices - would highly recommend!

   Went for the first time last night and the food was amazing! I will be dreaming of the burger, beef tallow fries and accompanying dipping sauce for weeks to come. The buffalo fried chicken was delicious as well. I would eat the burrata with homemade sourdough every day if I could and the lemon meringue cheesecake was the perfect end to our meal. We can’t wait to go back! Definitely make a reservation and try this restaurant for yourself!

    We loved every detail at the rumpled queen! The food, the service, the vibe and the space entirely is perfect! The bathrooms are unreal!!! We will most definitely be back! A lot! If you’re a bit of a foodie like us, you’ll love it!!
