   Dinner was delicious. The service was great. We were celebrating our anniversary so it was a bit sad that it was so loud. It was a beautiful hotel and restaurant From the moment that you valet your walk to the restaurant is exciting with the beautiful Christmas displays and wall chandeliers.

   Food was amazing and our server was very attentive. Only downsize if the experience is that their restroom is FAR. But this is a great option if you’re planning for a special occasion.

   We dined on Thanksgiving so things were understandably a bit disorganized. It was a prix fixe meal and there was no mention of this or the price on their website or at the restaurant which left us wondering. It turned out to be very expensive and they also added a service charge on top--which is not the tip. My meal was very good except for the root veggies which were rock hard. My husband's salad tasted sour and like it had ashes in it. The desserts were beautiful and delicious.

   $467 dinner for two. Chef knows what he or she is doing. Wait staff not fit for a fine dining restaurant. Just unacceptable for dining at this price. High end dining is as much about attention to detail and service as chef. Mandatory minimum tip at these prices is obscene when service almost left me calling the front desk to request someone take my order. Shame, really.

   Had dinner at Royce on Thanksgiving, and definitely understand and more than appreciate the sacrifice that the service providers made to work on a holiday away from friends, family or just taking the time to recharge. Now onto the actual meal, which was subpar at best. Given the cost of the dinner and the fact that a mandatory 20% charge was added to the bill with no explanation, the meal left us unfulfilled. I would’ve had a better dinner from the Boston market. The soup was decent, however everything else left us feeling unsatisfied. If the Royce continues to have these holiday dinners I would advice that they spend more time on the menu and making sure that the ingredients and flavor of the meal validate the cost. The turkey dinner looked like a plate of leftovers just thrown together. I asked for a margarita and was up charged for casamigos tequila that I didn’t ask for.

   Lovely setting at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena. Thanksgiving menu was simple Turkey, Beef, or Fish. All were excellent. Enjoyed it a lot will do again.

    It was my first time at The Royce and I can’t wait to go back! The food was amazing and it’s a beautiful place. I’ve always loved the Langham Hotel and now I have one more reason to love it. Truly a great place!

    Used to come here a lot pre-covid. Post-covid is basically a different restaurant. Food cam out Luke warm at best. Even the steaks or food on a cast iron pot (the pot itself was very Luke warm too). Food taste itself was honestly subpar. For 50-80 dollars a steak, I got similar quality for 30-40 dollars and it was at least hot. Service was subpar: minus the kitchen staff who was very nice the server was very meh. Chefs gave an extra complementary side. Server came over and took it away and said (this isn't complementary in a really rude and sassy tone.)Then came back a minute later and was like "oops teehee". We were celebrating three people's birthdays. When we got the dessert menu before we even said anything she said "you are getting three complementary desserts but theyre very small and not share able ". We weren't even thinking that but because of that we chose not to order anything else. Instead we went to Starbucks afterwards to redeem our free birthday drink which was a much more pleasant experience than royce. Tldr: treat this as a new restaurant with a similar menu. But new servers, kitchen staff etc. Highly don't recommend for 80-100 dollar per steak location.

    The food quality throughout the hotel was poor at best. 4 star hotel 1 star food & beverage! Manager promised a openTable Credit and gave yet to receive. One would think with rising prices and the level of the Langham Hotel it would have been better. We cannot redo a staycation once it’s ruined. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

    I was disappointed because of the menu changes since prior to the pandemic. Many of my favorite food choices were no longer available. All the staff that I'd come to know was no longer there, which was sad. The service was good, but the food wasn't what I remembered. It was very good, just not spectacular.

    I used to go to this restaurant regularly before Covid closed it. It is now reopened with a changed menu, new chef and very few familiar faces re staff. Everything was good… our waitress was outstanding but there is definitely something missing without Simone the best sommelier ever… and some of the menu faves being removed. I wish they would have stuck to the old menu which seems like everything on it was a winner.

    Our waiter, George helped to make this family’s birthday celebration dinner into a fabulous evening. The 4 of us enjoyed cocktails, appetizers, a bottle of 2018 Justin Isosceles, dessert and end with cognac. The food was exceptional, the restaurant was top notch. Thank you, we will be returning with friends soon! I even played a birthday song on the piano as we left, Autumn Leaves. Thank you!!

    The service was great from start to finish. They’re always mindful of the experience so the service never fails. I thought the food was a little underwhelming this time. I ordered the NY Wagyu which was dry. It was delivered, as ordered, medium rare, but for some reason it tasted dry. Not dry like well done steak but definitely not medium rare. It was kinda odd. The only other thing I found bothersome was the climate in the restaurant. I had a blazer on but found it still too cold in there.

    The restaurant is great. Food and service are outstanding. However, on a Saturday night in a up scale fine dining establishment, one should not have to encounter little children in high chairs and patrons wearing shorts.

    Worst expensive food ever! Either the food was bland or over salted! Appetizers took an hour and then one never did come. Been waiting for the Royce to reopen but now I wished it had waited until they got it together!!! Best things were the cocktails! Soooo very disappointed for our special occasion and what a waste of A LOT OF MONEY!!!!!!
