The Royce Steakhouse was absolutely delicious. My wife and I were guests of the hotel celebrating my wife's birthday and ended up eating here for dinner...TWICE! This is an upscale restaurant best suited for adults only. The restaurant is amazing in every way, but does not have a family vibe. For us, this was fine because we were there on vacation and we don't have children. This restaurant has a great, peaceful view, beautifully dimmed lighting, phenomenal service, and food so fresh it was to die for. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an upscale dining experience and delicious food and drinks. Lastly, in case it wasn't obvious this restaurant does have a dress code so keep that in mind, as well as the cost. The food is amazing but be prepared to pay for it.

We were not expecting such an excellent meal! Hotels often have average restaurants. Your Caesar salad is the best we have ever had. The steak simply melted in our mouths and the fish was equally delicious. We look forward to our next meal with you.

Last night My husband and I celebrated our 10th Wedding anniversary. We originally got married at the Langham! Dinner was at 630, but I wanted to take some nice pictures beforehand with the sun setting. Timing was perfect, weather was great. Dinner was amazing, with the tableside service as exceptional. I had the lamb, while hubby enjoyed the Ribeye. Shared the truffle fries and then had a wonderful anniversary dessert plate. I cannot begin to thank the Langham for such great memories. Top notch Hotel...

A great experience. I have been to many steak houses and I must sat that Royce was on point from the moment we walked in. All courses of the meal was excellent and our server Sullivan was a delight. The hamachi crudo, the wagyu steak, the branzino and the surprise of the night was a backed potato. Absolutely fabulous.

We had a very bad time at the Royce. We got there at 7:30 with 7 people (two kids under 10). No one came to the table until 8 pm. We had no food - not even bread for the kids - until almost 9. We didn’t get our meals until around 10. My daughter was asleep in our lap. My husband gently complained but to no avail. At 11 pm they said they would comp our desserts which was too little too late.

I regret having to write this bad review. For several years we have had consistently good experiences here. Last Thursday we experienced a real disappointment. My favorite dish, salmon, was not done well at all. So unusual for this main course to be severely under-cooked. We won't be back for a while.

This place is beautifully decorated. It has two hosting rooms as you enter and has a beautiful view of the hotel property. I am not a wine drinker but they seem to have an extensive wine collection. We ordered salads, steak, wild mushrooms, mac and cheese, and several cocktails. The salads seemed to be delayed but came out eventually. My husband ordered a cesar salad and I had the grilled wedge. The cesar was fine but the wedge was not good. The lettuce was wilted from the grilling and the dressing was gray as it mixed with the char. In retrospect, I think it sat too long before being delivered to us. It took forever for the steaks and sides to be delivered. once we cut into them they were overcooked from our medium request and totally cold. It was so disappointing for a steak that was $80 each. The sides were fine but I think the overall experience was just a bummer. We really wanted to like this place but they have some kitchen timing and server issues to work out. We are not looking for a fast food experience but a two-hour meal for two courses seems excessive.

Food was good, but very pricey. But that’s to be expected. Service was erratic. started out OK, but there were many times that the waiter didn’t show up for long periods. The sommelier took a $500 bottle of wine that I ordered away from the table to open it and decant it. No, you should open up the bottle in front of the customer and decant it at at the table, please. Also, when we finished our meal we sat there with dirty plates on the table for almost 20 minutes. our meal took 2 1/2 hours. That’s too long.

For the price, food was uneven. Lobster bisque was barely warm. Bone in rib eye served rare rather than medium. Delicious tuna cruda and prime filet. Table service scattered tho the staff was very busy. Very loud atmosphere.

The restaurant didn't consider the birthday noted or seating requests I asked. The server was never there and was back and forth other stations. They didn't bring out to birthday dessert until I had to remind them in front of the birthday guests and I had already asked them discreetly multiple times. Dinner took so long, it went past our baby's bedtime.

The views by the window are amazing. The service is great. The wine list is imaginative. The grilled wedge salad was the best I've ever had. The steak was great. Same for the grilled octopus. Their version of a baked potato is very creative. Desserts were wonderful with a special message in chocolate if you're there for a special occasion. A new fave.
