   Was a wonderful evening and meal. Excellent young lady took great care of us. We had the gumbo and tuna appetizers. Then both of us had the grouper special. All was Soooooooo very good. All came out on a timely basis, and all was served at the correct temperature. We look forward to returning soon. They earned a 5 star in all aspects.

   The food was delicious, all be it very expensive, which wasn’t unexpected, and our waitress was wonderful. The dining tables for 2 people are quite small. There were several tables open that seated 4 people but the hostess said those were already taken by people who had made reservations for them, However, most of them were open and not taken the entire 2 hours we were there dining. I would recommend the restaurant but if it’s important to you, you might want to make a request for a larger table when making reservations to see if they allow those requests. They do have an area they call their courtyard but I thought it would be too cold. Apparently, they have the ability to enclose it during inclement weather and have heaters. But we weren’t told that - just that they had availability in the courtyard. Overall it was a good dining experience and I would return.

   The atmosphere was pleasant as usual server Miss Haley was great food was tasty would have preferred more lettuce on my crab cakes other than that everything was great.

   The Royal Scam was a wonderful dining experience - from the hum of happy diners to our server who was hospitable, friendly, informative and efficient. We felt we were in good hands all evening. The Gumbo was the best I've ever had, and we opted for a variety of small dishes to share, all absolutely delicious and well prepared. The Royal Scam was our absolute favorite restaurant, hands down, during a four day trip with my mom. We can't wait to return!

    We have dined at the Royal Scam several times (normally Symphony night) over the last six months and have never been disappointed. It is one of our top choices in Mobile for special nights. Highly recommended.

    Absolutely phenomenal! We had a large group, but being as we were ok to break up into smaller groups, we each made separate reservations that all came at once, and the staff handled us beautifully. I was actually amazed how fantastic the wait staff was and how smoothly our food was executed. Truly amazing. Since part of our group was a middle school dance team, they were extra patient of us, and respected we were an out-of-town dance team. Our food was outstanding and the wine was perfect. If I had one recommendation, it would be to have another kids option besides chicken and fries, maybe beef sliders or popcorn shrimp. Otherwise, perfection.

    Everything was excellent. Service was great. We loved our appetizer, tuna tartare. And for our main course we had the chefs special Hibiscus glazed Halibut, fabulous. And the chicken was delicious too. And OMG the chocolate crème brûlée was to die for.

    Loved everything about this place. The food was absolutely amazing. It was a special three course meal for Mardi Gras and everything I had was absolutely to die for. The drink were great and service was excellent.

    We love this place. Me and my wife go here for valentines 💖. You couldn't ask for a more friendly staff. The food is delicious. There, Filet Mignon is the best I have ever had. My wife liked it so much when I got it last year that she ordered it this year. Their flourless chocolate cake is also delicious. If you have not been here, go. If the Royal Scam reads this, thank you for making our Valentines Day special.

    Had reservations before a concert. Was seated at their outside dining area. Was a little cold but heaters made it comfortable. The only draw back is heaters are on a timer. It kept going off and we had to get up and turn it back on. Food was great and service was outstanding.

    Dinner was good. My husband had the redfish and I had the special which was tilefish. Dessert (bread pudding) was much improved since my last visit when the restaurant first re-opened. Service was impeccable. Overall we had a very good experience.

    The Hostess was gracious and we were seated right away. The table was near the door but unlike a horrible visit to Dumbwaiter recently the restaurant was cozy in spite of a chilly night. The appetizer of crab cakes did not disappoint. The drinks were made fresh and were superb. The fish entrees were perfect and delicious. The Blueberry Crème Brûlée was different but my wife enjoyed it. The Bread Pudding was some of the best I ever had. I felt like I was in New Orleans not Mobile. Kudos to all.

    We had another delicious meal. Everything we had was wonderful. Redfish and Triple Tail were fresh and prepared perfect. The service is always great. Very attentive but never intrusive. My favorite play to eat. I have never had a bad meal or experience. Highly recommend.

    Fantastic service in the enclosed and heated outside covered eating area. This is my favorite place in the whole restaurant. The two servers made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely will come again.

    Most importantly, the food was excellent. Service was good but the server served the 2 and 2 white wine backwards, we all took a sip, we immediately realized the mistake. The server apologized but she did not offer to take it back. We awkwardly switched wine with our guest. I didn’t want to make a big deal but not wild about drinking after other people.
