Delicious dinner at the Royal Scam. It definitely sets the bar high for fine dining in Mobile. Staff was attentive, but we didn’t feel rushed. Redfish & Cajun rice was outstanding local favorite!

Best dirty martini, ever! The stuffed blue cheese olives were incredible. The filet was cooked to perfection. Could have licked the plate! It was THAT good!

Best Filet in Mobile....Hat's off to the Beef Supplier.... and whoever is in kitchen sure knows what they're doing with a steak! 5-Stars for the Gumbo, too.

My wife and had dinner on 25 July 23. Both of us had one of their daily specials. I had the red fish which came with brazed broccoli and cuz cuz. It was awesome. The fish was tender and came with a glaze (sorry, I can't remember the specific flavor). I also had a bowl of gumbo as my appetizer. The gumbo was very flavorful. My wife had the 14 oz ribeye and substituted the potatoes and green beans (I think) with a salad. Our only issue with the service was that the salad. It came with a bevvy of what I would consider flavorful additions (almonds, dried tomatoes, etc). My wife simply wanted the "greens" with the house balsamic dressing. The server said she couldn't take the additional items off. The other issue was the server brought the salad with the meal instead of prior to the meal. I get it, she had substituted the salad for the steak's side items. But you'd think she could bring the salad out when she brought my gumbo. The maître d' came over to ask "how's everything". She noticed my wife trying to remove items from the salad. She quickly took away the salad and brought her a new salad (minus the additional items). She was awesome. Overall this is an outstanding restaurant and we'd definitely eat there again.

My wife and I ate here years ago. We were coming to a concert and thought we’d try it again. There were a few critical remarks online about food quality and service so we thought the desert at least would be good. Much to our delight, the food and Trinity’s great service made for a wonderful experience. We both had the red grouper special. Not every restaurant and chef makes grouper well. Too many over cook or think frying is the only way. Hats off to the chef and the team in the kitchen. The lemon flavor was perfect and the light crust topped off with the light sauce was scrumptious. Thanks to the Chef and Trinity.

The space is nice and intimate, not too dark. We started with the crab cakes and pork belly. Both delicious. I had the short ribs and my husband had one of the fish dishes. They both were delicious, well seasoned. We finished with the bread pudding and the banana fosters creme Brule. I had coffee, French pressed and my husband the Irish cream coffee...everything was above and beyond expectations.

The setting and staff were awesome. The tuna tartare is a must. I had the triple tail special which was quite good but the steak seemed to be the winner at our table. I highly recommend this spot.

We had a party of 5 and not a morsel of food or drink were left once we finished dining. For the main course we devoured the catch of the day with goat cheese couscous and asparagus, Seafood gumbo, crab cakes and pork belly. Dessert was phenomenal (their bread pudding is to die for!!) As for cocktails, The Royal Scam makes the only espresso martini worth a hoot in all of Mobile! I Always leave satisfied and pleased after dining here. The service and overall ambience are also exceptional here. One of the best restaurants in Mobile IMO

One of our favorite places. Tuna tartar for appetizer is awesome. My husband had the Land and Sea and I had the Grouper. Both of our meals were excellent. And to top off all of the goodness, the bread pudding was to die for.

The award winning gumbo was not, to us, I figure to someone/some others it was... The fried shilrimp battered and covered with wasabi rice cakes was interesting, the ginger soy sauce was the star of that dish. Beef short ribs dish was tasty, tender, polenta texture and flavornwere in ooints with the sauce on the short rib being a bit thick and had very low viscosity, so it looked staged. The fish was cooked beautifully, beautiful sear with golden color, sauce had low viscosity too, looked staged. Goat cheese Israeli cous cous was so delicious, well done. Cous cous was a bit overcooked. Overall , good meal.
