The Rowhouse Grille is Federal Hill's neighborhood tavern with a fresh new take on American cuisine. . Our two bars and dining rooms provide the perfect casual environment in which to enjoy Executive Chef Tess Mosley's creative execution of American cuisine. With 16 taps in the house, the draft beer selection is consistently changing, featuring craft beers both local and otherwise. Our house specialty is mussels prepared in classic French Bistro fashion, but make sure to join us for Mussel Monday for a new featured broth. If you enjoy mussels, you do not want to leave without having them here. Our nightly chef's specials draw inspiration from fresh seasonal ingredients and evolve as the seasons unfold. Daily specials include discounted mussels on Mondays, Taco Tuesday with half price Beer, Bourbon & Burger Night on Wednesday and our ever popular AYCD Wine Night on Thursdays! Although it took longer than we'd liked for our food to get out, and the two servers upstairs seemed to be a bit overwhelmed, the experience was a good one. There was an issue related to the description of the Waffle Monte Cristo on the menu not matching what is actually served (no mention of egg on the menu, even though it contains a large omelet, and the "served with fruit" apparently only happens if you ask for it), but the servers replaced it and were very accommodating in response.

I loved the food! I’m a greedy troll so I love large portions. They did not skimp a bit so if you love food and portions like I do... this is the spot! I got the French toast, hash potatoes, and grits. Everything was delicious!

We sat upstairs because we asked for a quiet table and it was perfect. The food is always very good but when asked for the check we did not receive the Wednesday special on the burgers and beers as advertised on their website. The made an adjustment but did not seem overly apologetic and did not discount the beers. He didn’t want to hear us so we paid and left. Next time if there is one we will be sure to remind the wait staff if there daily specials.

Service was prompt and brunch menu was very creative. My chicken buffalo cornbread concoction was delicious. We forget about this place with the many restaurants in Baltimore, but it should be on everyone's radar screen. Truly a gem!

Made 7:15 reservations, arrived about 10 mins early and were told it would be a few minutes. At 7:30 after seeing multiple parties be seated, inquired with the same hostess who we had previously spoken with. She asked who we had talked to, as she did not have us checked in...ummm, you. Eventually seated at 7:40, took another 10 minutes for the server to bring us water. Overall, food and drink were good but would not return.

Parking is the worst! Drove around for 15 minutes, finally parked about 4 blocks away. The bartender/ host seemed a bit ‘put out’ that we asked to be seated upstairs instead of being squeezed in on main level (it was just 2 of us) she took our drink orders then disappeared. We sat ther with our menus for another 15-20 minutes, finally I waived someone over to take our order. The service person didn’t know anything about their beer selection, but was stood at faking it, instead deflecting the conversation. Asked about desert and he had to go and find out only to write down the options. The end result is that the food was decent but not especially keen to return.

The RHG is an amazing place as far as the ambiance and the art work and the staff. However, the food left something to be desired. Just a bit of salt and pepper would turn the food around. (How do you make chorizo bland?!) Had several dishes and they all needed the same two core ingredients in cooking, salt and pepper. That would perhaps be the only low.

I must say the staff and the drinks are amazing, that alone is worth the venture to happy hour and out for a quick bite. Everyone is happy to assist you for anything you may need. Unlike some places in the area, they are will to describe to you the food with great passion (even if it needs seasoning). I would recommend and hey try for yourself, you may have a 5 star time!

The menu I looked online and found was different from the menu presented in person. The waiter was nice and explained the recent changes. The Side salad was actually good, crab dip and celery was great. The entrees were ok. Grilled chicken marinara was ok. Wings and fries were good. I would go again, but for happy hour or hanging out

We took a party of 7 for Thanksgiving. Rowhouse did a really delicious Thanksgiving prix fixe meal, with plenty of options for sides to please all of our group. Great service, nice people, and very fairly priced. We're going back!
